I have not and cannot transition yet, but I am still looking for a group of friends with whom I can be myself around. I want to meet some people of the same gender who can accept me. Add ScarletNocturne if you are willing to be that friend.

If OP were to make friends, it's going to come out at some point. Might as well be straightforward and weed out the assholes before you get emotionally attached.
