I don't get it.. You were in Gold 5 but just kept continuing to play even though you were losing enough to demote out? It is the end of the season, you could have just stopped playing and had Gold rewards.

Some of us actually are in it for the climb, not the loot. We don't quit.

Yea, but I'm pretty sure there is a warning when you are about to drop. At the very least you'd think if you had the tier drop warning you'd quit spamming ranked for a while and work on improving in normals.
