Want to find a group of people to play league with IRL

Been playing League for five years now, and I got my start in Texas while I was going to college. All my friends that I have played the game with over the years are from out of state and it's impossible to get everyone to play together sometimes. Now, I am back home in California and know zero locals who play the game. Kinda makes me sad because I miss the feeling of getting together with everyone to just have a long gaming session. Any tips on how to find like minded players locally who just want to have some fun together and play the game we love?
