Prodigious Gaming - Ranked/Competitive Team Recruitment [Platinum+]

Hello and welcome! I am HastyApple, I started a small gaming community known as Prodigious Gaming a while back and have had some mild successes with it. I am also interested in eSports as a whole and wanted to extend an invitation to you all to join the ranks of Prodigious Gaming. PG is recruiting ambitious gamers who want to make that extra effort into becoming a top player in the next season. We are welcoming players who have proven themselves worthy of Platinum and up in soloqueue for tryouts starting in roughly 2 weeks.

Over the next 2 weeks(the remainder of February) we will be sifting through applications for tryouts and selecting groups of players to put together strong teams. The tryout process is expected to go longer than 2 weeks but we hope to have 2-3 rosters finished and run through the process of elimination from there on. What we are looking for

There are certain aspects we are looking for in players before selecting you. There will be several screening processes from the start; for example how you present yourself in your application, how well you describe your playstyle, weaknesses, and more. We are looking for ambitious people who wont stray from their goals quickly. Here is a list of some of what we are looking for in players;

• Team player
• Ambitious, goal oriented, driven personality
• Confidence, but not overconfidence
• Reasonable, understand that you are not perfect and have room to improve
• Organized, excellent time management
• Responsible, don't be late to practice
• Be involved
• Have a headset, Teamspeak installed and be ready to use it daily
• Be ready to commit more than 2 4-6 hour days of practice

This is just scratching the surface, and there is plenty more to look into when starting this process of screening but I wanted to give you a heads up.

What you should expect

1. Long hours of practice; You will be expected to practice 3-4 days a week. League is your priority game and improving is your main goal.
2. Make friends with the 4-5 others you are paired with because they will be who you are hanging out with for a while.
3. Meet deadlines for goals and events
4. Compete in events weekly - for practice and prize.

Over the next 2-3 weeks we will review all applications, and reach out to those that apply and let them know if they will be moving forward to an interview stage or if we don't feel they are the right fit.
