Looking for friends to play with casually (and maybe also ranked)
Are you ready for the best LoLing of your life? Well move on because it's not here.
But seriously though, I'm gathering people to play with in hopes that we can climb together into Gold (or higher) for Season 6 (and beyond...?).
That being said, it's not going to be a serious team or anything; as far as ranked goes, I'm merely looking to get the season-end rewards (hence Gold) but we can go higher if we feel like it, and there's no rush to do it immediately.
I'm more interested in forming a group of friends who will simply have fun playing together: ranked, normals, aram, whatever, maybe even non-LoL games. So there's no problem even if you're Gold or higher or have no interest in ranked.
There are, of course, some requirements. We're looking to make friends who enjoy playing with each other here, not a group of people yelling at each other.
- Be friendly, nice, and respectful.
- Want to make friends.
- Preferably have a microphone. We'll be using Discord.
- Be available to play. This doesn't mean you must be ready to play all day, every day. But don't join and then never actually be around.
- Understand that people will have off days and we will lose games. Can't win them all.
- Be willing to receive constructive criticism.
- If you're going to give constructive criticism, know/learn how to actually do so. (Many people claim they're giving constructive criticism when they're really just berating someone over mistakes. I suggest looking up some writing workshops to learn how to critique.)
- Be friendly, nice, and respectful.

Rank: Currently Unranked. Silver... 3? 2? in Season 5. Don't remember.
Time: PST, free on weekdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm and after 9:30pm, free all day on most weekends
About: I used to be Gold in S4 and before, but after getting old and having a child, my playing took a hit but I don't regret the trade. Most of the other people I used to play with either stopped playing over the years or are now in Plat/Diamond so... yeah, looking for new people to rank with. Also I secretly suspect they hate my silver-ness and don't wanna play with me anymore. <_<
Anyway, you may hear my kid blabbering into the microphone every now and again. I try to make sure he's taken care of before I start so I've never had to abandon a game before... but know that he's more important than LoL so if there's an emergency, I will tend to him (but I'll try to say something before disappearing, should the need ever arise).
Aside from LoL, I enjoy a variety of other games, but due to the aforementioned child, longer games are less available to me now so the 40 minute - hour chunks of LoL games work out nicely. I'm also really into tabletop games so if you've got Tabletop Simulator... hi!
