LF Team - Support - Feedback Please

I've been playing League for awhile now and I recently got into ranked play. I've been playing Solo queue as support mainly, and depending on when I get to pick and who I'm playing against, I switch between Janna, Thresh, Annie, or Zyra to counter my opponents. Now I don't know if it's me, or if I'm just really unlucky with solo queue, but my win/lose ratio is terrible. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing, I know my role, champs, and opponents, watch the map, use wards, keep vision up, and pay attention to my opponents cooldowns. However, no matter how well I do, I just can rarely pull a win. What I want to know is if I'm better than my solo queue rank, or if I really am just that terrible. I want to play with people who can really tell me if I'm on the right path, or if I'm doing it wrong.

I know exactly how you feel. I main ADC and Top really and every single game i destroy my lane but we can never pull a win. I wish you luck friend.

You might want to try tankier supports if your top lane isn't a tank.

edit: looking at your games you seem to die quite frequently, any reasons for that? no offense intended.

Also, nobody seems to want to take responsibility for their actions. It's always the blame game, everyone blaming other people for stuff. I love the game, but damn is Bronze toxic.

Know what you mean, I've been working to climb out of bronze with my friend, for the most part we win consistently, but there are always those few games we lose. Normally the best thing to do is take a break after every ranked game you play, around at least 20 minutes minimum, you could use that time to find mistakes in your past games and capitalize on fixing them in later games. I think its not only important to counter your opponents champions, but you also need a support that makes up for whatever your adc is lacking. Such as Caitlyn, while cait has really good critical hit scales, she lacks escape and mobility, therefore you need a disengage or something that will negate the opponents engage and turn the tides in your favor, personally I don't play Braum , but he has a really good engage and disengage using his R, as well as his shield which reduces damage, this champ works well with those squishy back line champs. Playing as a support its important you choose a support that benefits the team, if your team lacks engage pick a support that has good engage, or maybe your team has a strong back line that can deal out a lot of damage, and thats great, but if you have no tanks your back line is sitting ducks.

You can feel free to check my match history, but I don't know if its set to public or if thats even a thing. If its not public, I'll tell you I mainly support Blitz and Thresh, since both can pick off the back line. If the other team makes a mistake, capitalize on it and do whatever you can to punish them as long as its a worthy trade. Its also a good idea to use bans to your advantage. This info is very in general since I haven't gone ahead and looked at your match history, I'm happy to give you any advice I can if you need help thought.

The best way to get out of Bronze is to play Top/Mid. In the current meta bot lane isn't the best. Especially with the use of double Tp on solo laners. Bot easily turns into a 4v2 if you're even slightly over extended. However it is possible to climb bronze if you play strong supports like braum/alistar/bard. Tell your mid lane to keep you updated on mid sums and roam whenever you can. It's very easy to get kills mid since bronzes don't ward often.

I do all of this. I pick my support based on my team and the opponent's team. If we lack engage, I pick Taric since his ult is pretty much GG for team fights, and he's tanky as hell when build right. If we have an engage and tank, I play Janna, since she is the peel master and has incredible utility. I also have Annie, Thresh, Blitz, and Zyra to pick from, but more often than not, Taric or Janna get the job done. Honestly, I wish I was recording some of the fights, because I've made some clutch plays that my team just couldn't or wouldn't take advantage of. Like I had a Mundo tell me he didn't know I was using my ult as Taric and ended up flashing through a wall to get away from a fight... it's a 5 second wind up and you see it coming. I think a large part of the problem is that people don't know other champs and don't know what they are capable of. As Taric, I can hold a team together with stuns, heals and shields. Janna has insane peel. I often ban Blitz because I don't think he takes much skill to win with. I think I may have to switch to top. If I'm not going to play support, might as well play tank. I guess I just don't like the ADC role.
