Hello, fellow members of the LoL community! With the addition of the new "Club" system, I've decided to put together my own assortment of companions in order to have a positive and fun experience within the game.

A little about myself: My IGN is 50ShadesOfBae, and I have been playing League of Legends since early Season One. It was with great pride that I got to watch this game, a piece of art that I had come to admire, become the international icon it is today. My highest rank I've ever achieved was Gold I; I'm not a god-like player, certainly. I am currently Silver I, and am looking for members to have a more enjoyable Ranked experience with.

Now, what exactly is the goal of this club?

The goal of the Band of the Red Hand is to create a community full of considerate, honorable, and dedicated players who will uphold the convictions put into the Summoner's Code (an outdated moral compass, perhaps, but one worth following). I want to create a community where players can feel welcome at all times, with people who are more than willing to share laughter and good times with each other.

Over the years, I've seen this community become more toxic and angry; both at one another and at Riot Games in general. This saddens me beyond belief. I know one person such as myself cannot change it, but maybe I can at least provide a safe haven for those who are still willing to be decent to others and themselves. And I would like to start with any applicants that comment on this thread.

Requirements:

  • Absolutely None.

All kinds of players are welcome, regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other social groups. Rank or level does not matter either. No matter who you are, I want you to feel welcome in playing with myself and fellow members.

Rules:

  • No toxic or offensive behavior is acceptable, not even towards enemies in-game. Members of the Band will not display any hostility towards fellow LoL players. Not to say that trash-talk can't/won't happen, but keep it civil.
  • This is also a community that seeks improvement in the gameplay of its members. If, for example, a member in Diamond were to offer constructive advice to you, a Silver member, please be willing to listen. If you do not want that sort of interaction, politely tell them you do not want it. If the Diamond player persists, contact me and I will straighten it out.
  • If you wish to bring in friends to join the Band, please be sure to inform them of our purpose. They will be welcome, of course, but any toxic behavior on their part will be your responsibility. You will not be punished for THEIR bad behavior, but you may be asked to straighten them out before expulsion of them occurs.

Jeez, that was a lot to go over! But now we can get to the applications! It is a very simple process; in the comments below, please provide:

  • In-Game Name (for adding purposes)
  • Age (must be 18 or older; profanity may be spoken by members of the Band)
  • (Optional) And what you, as a player and person, can provide to our budding community and how you would support our goal for a better LoL experience!

Additional Info:

  • No Mics required; official Voice Comms will be established later. We are currently in the process of making a Discord server. For now, this is a text-chat only group. Feel free to exchange Skype or other VCs if you're looking to play with other members using VC.
  • To avoid confusion: this is NOT a Ranked-Only club! All players, casual or not, are welcome; this is simply a club dedicated to forming safe and fun groups of players!
  • This is a North American server Club; sorry, my friends from Europe West and other regions, but I cannot add you to our ranks. :(

Just looking for a friendly, non-toxic group to play some normals with. I might take the ranked plunge again this year at some point, but last year burned me out (the climb from low Bronze to high Silver was the opposite of fun honestly). I'm hoping to get some chests and keys by grouping as well as hopefully avoiding flamers, afks, and trolls.

I am an older member of the League community, but with that I feel comes a bit of wisdom and ability to control myself better. I am looking to climb ranked, but its really about being a better player in this game I love and spend so much time playing. I am usually a solo player, but I am looking to get more out of my LoL experience by meeting new people that enjoy the same hobby I do.

  • I just want enjoyable people to queue with >.< The community has become so toxic since I began playing (late season 1 I believe) I've never gotten past bronze in ranked because of a lack of people to queue with. I want the game to be fun again :)

I'm not looking for a ranked club right now, but unless I'm entirely mistaken I do remember playing with you in an ARAM match that was fairly pleasant. I wish you luck in your search for members, let me know if you're interested in joining my club that's aimed less towards ranked and more towards just finding enjoyable players.

I have been scared to play ranked since I know I would be Wood division. Looking for people that tell me how I could play better, not yell at me about what I already know I do badly. I like to play Top and ADC most of the time, but in a premade I wouldn't mind playing support. It's fun when the ADC you're with doesn't yell at you all the time.

I love the description of your club. Many of my interactions have been great, but there have been quite a few 'toxic' ones that make me question returning at times. I love the game - I'm new since the new season and generally play support and sometimes mid (not as well.)

As a member I think I could add enthusiasm coupled with maturity. I really just love the game and want to play and grow in a respectful environment!

Hey there 50Shades OfBae! Honestly, I love this. I find that one of the biggest drawbacks to the game is toxicity in the player base. It hinders players skills, and totally affects the outcome of the game. I've found that more toxicity tends to lie in the bronze section of ranked (where I am now), whereas in the past, silver and gold have been lovely to play in. I find each game is a bit of a raffle (How toxic will my team be today?), so it would be great to have a group who plays regularly that I can count on to be nice and constructive.

I typically play support Bard Sona Thresh Leona . Don't know if that's relevant at all. But if there is still room in your club, I'd love to join!

-24 year old -playing out of Vancouver Canada, pst time zone -i am primary a support player who plays all supports ( just trying to incorporate janna but i don't really see my self playing her much because of play style)

  • play mostly nights and late nights, sometimes during the mid afternoon during weekends -love to mic up and have a blast with a few core people

Hi. I first started to play this game in January 2012, but since there have always been MANY trolls and intentional feeders around... I took long breaks from this... My main lanes are: top, mid, supp.

Huge Wheel of Time fan... my name is actually kind of related to Mat's amulet (fox with yinyang eyes... formless.. fox.. boom!)

I am a support main but can play all roles... went for support hoping to go farther but it is so hard to grind alone. Highest rank is silver v which I am proud of as a support lol. I am looking for a laid back group of people looking to hang out and play a fun game.. not here to rage I am here to adapt and win and move on if I lose.

I have been looking for a chill group of guys/girls to just play league with and have fun. I am currently silver 3 and my highest elo is Gold 3. My hopes is to find a cool club to be apart of and have less negativity around me while I game, It really makes it hard to play and enjoy the game with people calling you trash, or the usual "ez gg" comments. My main is Adc/mid and my secondaries are Support/jungle, I cannot top for the life of me.

I'm an Analyst for Team Synthesis and I enjoy picking apart the patch notes to see who's going to be overpowered and who's going to be useless. I also love to experiment with Off-Meta stuff that could be viable every so often. I started playing Runeglaive Orianna back when RG Ezreal was a thing and it got played in LCS the following days. So I love to analyze the game! :)
