Objectives and warding wins games, not chasing kills. Chasing unnecessary kills irritates, so does engaging in pointless team fights. You have to ask yourself, is running bottom lane to ace the enemy team worth leaving the inner turret and inhibitor you're working on top lane. If you think it is, you're an idiot and I'll let you know that the second you stop attacking the turret.)
