Mission Statement: Rising Power is an esports club for Silver and Gold players (not based on current rank). Operating under the premise of building a network of players who are ALL interested toward self-improvement while actively working toward their personal goals. Players who would like to take the development of their personal skills, game knowledge, mechanics, champion mastery and team work beyond the basics are welcome to join the club. Ideally all club members are understanding of the challenges that lay before them and are willing to behave maturely in a non-toxic manner to overcome them. No member is playing League of Legends as a career; therefore intensity should never grow to a toxic level.

Let's all work together to Learn, Improve and Climb!

The Benefits of cooperative game play vs PUGGING: This upcoming season provides players with a few different options in ranked game play. As a solo queue player I understand that being paired with strangers 100% of the time does not usually promote much growth in terms of team work, game knowledge and mechanics. Players tend to be very toxic towards one another over mistakes (even the littlest) made which demoralizes players who are actually applying effort towards personal growth and match victory. Playing with like minded and mature players should help alleviate a lot of the stress a player may be subjected to when pugging.

With this synergy in mind players are in a very good position to play cooperatively with one another which changes the playing environment completely. Players are able to communicate more efficiently by using voice chat software. A player may be willing to volunteer their “shot calling” experience so that all players can work as a team. Part of playing competitively is learning to trust your team member’s call (even if you don’t agree) and playing the “call out” as best as possible.

Requirements to join the club: There is only one “true” requirement to join. Be a player at the Silver to Gold playing level. This is not based on your current rank. For example in Season 4, 5 and 6 I’ve been ranked Silver. Therefore I consider myself a player at the Silver level. However I may start Season 7 in Bronze. The rest are not really considered requirements, but are necessary to have in order to promote a healthy and competitive playing environment for all members.

  1. Have a working microphone so you can be a functional team player in-game.

  2. Please have (or willing to download) some of the popular FREE voice communication software’s like Discord or Curse – In the club no one person is responsible to build teams for ranked game play. Everyone works together in building teams so sometimes other members may use a different type of software for voice communication. Ideally all team members should vote and agree on which software to use prior to starting a ranked queue.

  3. Have a strong desire to Learn, Improve and Climb – We want everyone’s mindset to be the same across the board; which is to work together in learning more about how to play competitively while learning from mistakes. Have the desire to practice and improve each week, and ultimately we want all of our efforts to pay off by climbing to a higher rank than the previous season.

If this sounds like a club that you would like to be a part of please send me a message in-game (RaiKor). A website is being planned to help represent the club, if anyone is interested in being a part of the graphic design or web development team please let me know.

Thanks for reading.

TL;DR – Rising Power is an esports club looking for silver and gold players to network with. Let’s all work together to Learn, Improve and Climb! If interested in joining please contact me (RaiKor) in-game.
