27 yr old in Dallas seeks to grow League community

[ed: A kind soul in my GD post thread suggested it may be helpful to post here. I'm also 27, not 28, darn typo] Hello, my fellow league folks. I started playing a year ago after law school and really enjoy the game (bronze 3). I realized recently that there are no local League of Legends leagues around. I'd like to start a club/group for DFW summoners to get together after work or especially on weekends to watch good matches and play games sitting near each other. I'd like League of legends to be as well known as the NBA/NFL/NHL/MLB--and it is growing--but the potential sponsors want to see eyeballs watching. I think a good way to help get League bigger and more valuable to sponsors is local growth. I have a 9-5 job but spend most of my freetime grinding the ladder and it'd be fun to converse and be around others who also enjoy the game and culture.
