Gold + Team Recruitment
Continuing to build a Gold + ranked 5's team.
Me and my main duo q buddy are looking to expand to a 5's team. We are focused on finding at least 3 other players that are on many evenings during NA time zones (central or eastern would be best). We keep in touch and communicate during game using skype. We are looking for players that are somewhere between casual and try hard. We play to win, almost never surrender, don't get toxic with each other when we lose (which losing does happen sometimes), and are open for suggestions to improve when people we play with have idea's to offer.
I would like for us to try things like, practicing level 1 ward invades, lane swaps, jungle/support early game duo jungle etc. Basically, I want to see if we can pull off some of the strategies seen in the LCS. Obviously, we won't be as skilled as them. During these practices of new idea's, we may be playing some norms so we don't throw away our ranked team stats to much. Or we may have a secondary ranked team setup for practice matches, and another setup for try hard team rank leveling.

Stipulations: 1/ If your not currently ranked gold or above in your own solo que on the account your messaging me from, don't bother messaging me. I don't care if you were gold in a prior season. I don't care if you feel your gold level but just don't play ranked enough to grind it. I am sorry, but both my DuoQ and myself are in Gold. My duo Q reached plat for part of last season. We only want people around our skill level.
2/ If your less than 18 years old, don't bother messaging me either. I realize players under 18 can still be mature enough to be on a team, however, both of us are in our 20's + and are looking for people to play with in similar age/life situation's.
3/ If you don't have a working mic headset and skype, then your not going to be able to communicate with the team.. so don't message me.
4/ If you tilt while losing a game easily, regardless of the reason, your likely not going to be a good fit for us. For example, me and my duo q played a ranked duo q game yesterday, where a top lane teemo purposely fed the enemy about 10 deaths in the first 8-12 minutes. Then my bot lane ADC afk'd at about 5 minutes due to this. We could have given up (the game was obviously not winnable in a 3v6 essentially), and we could have been flaming the chat out of frustration, but instead we just played the game with what we had, and ended up laughing as we tried to get kills on the enemy in near impossible odds by the time the game was ending. Did it suck to lose a ranked game that way? Of course. Would our flaming or complaining about it during the game do anything to help it? Of course not. And that's the attitude we bring to the game. Losses happen, report players when needed, move on to the next one and keep your head up.
There will be games your going to suck, there also will be games I will suck. If you give up on a team after one or two losses, then don't bother messaging us. We want players with a bit more mental fortitude than that.
We try to play most nights, but we currently do not have a set practice schedule. If we find 3 more players that are as regular on the game and as available as us, then we may start setting practice dates/times.

We are only looking for players for top, jungle, and adc. I will consider multiple people for these roles until I find the right ones that fit with us.
** Finally, it's Canadian thanksgiving weekend, so I have a bunch of family obligations this weekend, I won't be on all the time. Post here AND add me online if your interested.
