North Woods Gaming - It's gonna be a cold one

If you can stand the cold and put up with the snow then North Woods Gaming is the place for you. We are a new community looking for staff and members to fill our ranks. We just started a few days ago so there are a bunch of staff positions available for NWG.

North Woods Gaming is like a warm cabin in the cold dark woods of solo queue. We provide a safe place for people to make lasting friendships and play with people that share common interests.

We will focus on league at least for the beginning because League is a great game with a large community. I am the founder of NWG and I've struggled with solo queue in norms for a long time and I got tired of it. So I have decided to make this community in order to provide myself and others with a friendly place to play games.

Do we have a website? yes we do. We are working on it everyday, refining it and making it easier to use. Maybe if we got someone with web design experience to join the community they could help with the website.

Do we have ts server yes? No we use a VOIP called Discord. You can download it at https://discordapp.com/apps, and from there when it asks you to join a server put in this code. https://discord.gg/0jaicNghMCFn3MeV

If any of this sounds interesting to you please feel free to check us out.

I am a newer player (actually I am a returning player....sort of, but its easier if I am classified as a newer player) that is looking for a warm home to relearn LoL and finish leveling my 1 account. I really do enjoy MOBAs and I have played many before so in light of that I must pay homage to the one that made it popular, LoL. My current line up of champs are: Annie, Malphite, working on Kassadin. The only reason I have these, is because they are easy. I am willing to play any role in any lane, including support.

About me:

My name is John, but in TS (I am assuming the community uses TS) I am Plague. However, since my LoL is forever old; my in game name is Lydel. Yes, I will change it to make it less confusing soon.

I have played MOBAs for years, along with LoL, Smite, and I am also heavily involved with HoTS (Heroes of the Storm). I am an older gamer that has been gaming since my dad brought home the 1st Nintendo in 1989. I am a special education teacher. I would be interested in hearing about staff positions, just to see what is available and what would match up well with my skills.

I do have the capability to stream, record, edit video. I am dabbling in social media (been turned off on it because of the whole teacher thing). I do have and use a play.tv account. I have been having a lot of fun with it. X) http://plays.tv/u/Plagueis

As I stated earlier, I really try to be a team player when it comes to multiplayer games. In fact, playing this games is not about the game it self but the interaction between the players. The relationships that are made in these kinds of forums is what I find to be the most important thing.

Thank you and be well.

John (Plague, Lydel)
