Silver Duo Looking to Make a Casual Ranked Team

Hi, I'm Lord Boltrix and me and my friend Exalake are Silver V/IV.

We are casual in terms of the amount of time we play, generally a few hours in the evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, but we are serious in trying to improve ourselves.

Our main roles are Top and Mid respectively, and we opt into jungle as our secondaries.

We would be interested in others who can fill the positions we don't main, namely ADC and Support, and a jungler main would be welcome as well.

Exalake's play style - the result of playing mages like Malzahar (pre-rework) - is a rather overcautious individual who rarely ever gives up kills, but due to playing safe often by his own words 'should not be relied on to carry.' He often responds best when given direction from others and follows up on others who initiate, and prefers to react to enemies rather than initiate.

My own playstyle - brought from playing melee bruisers like Darius - is that of someone who wants to get in the middle of the action, and wants to turn into 'the guy everyone runs from' every game. In contrast to Exalake, I often end up either giving up a few kills and a burden, or getting supremely overfed and carrying the game... if nothing else goes wrong.

I tend to call the shots in our duo, always trying to watch the map and determining when to take objectives and when to check on the enemy team to prevent their own objective advancement, but I'm willing to adapt as needed depending on the needs of individual teammates in the middle of the game.

If you'd be interested, please post here, we're not anal-retentive about you always needing to show up to play, but rather we would feel our progression as players would improve if we played with the same people and team cohesion was a central point in our personal advancement. In our duo, we're not afraid to offer honest criticism and call each other out, and if you wish to join you'll have to be ready to not only take criticism where it must be given, but to also give constructive criticism... sometimes we need another person to just tell us when not to do something and explain why.
