#Announcing vVv Gaming's Amateur Draft League Season 4!
Greetings Summoners! vVv Gaming is pleased to announce the official launch of Season 4 for the Amateur Draft League tonight at 9pm EST! During the previous 3 seasons we had 500+ participants including ShorterAce, formally of Team8, who is currently playing for BrawL.NA.
The ADL is a draft-style league and will be hosted every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday at 9pm EST on the vVv Mumble server. Any aspiring League of Legends player,both in and outside of vVv Gaming, is invited and encouraged to attend.
The core of video games is a social and fun experience and any competitive game is more enjoyable when played in such a format. Every League of Legends player knows the absolute terror associated with Solo Queue and the Amateur Draft League seeks to provide a self-reliant outlet for your high quality 5v5 needs while avoiding the toxicity and disorganization of Solo Queue.
Over the course of the last 3 seasons we have learned a lot and we hope Season 4 will be our best season yet! These events have become much more efficient and allows players a unique experience to interact with others of a like mindset of wanting to compete while improving.
We have come up with a complete set of rules and procedures which will ensure the quality of the ADL as well as a system which guarantees to reward the players who prove themselves more talented. Respect is paramount to the success of these nights, and part of the reason we've seen such a growth as a community in general since their inception.
We currently have the Reporting System to help reform and eliminate all toxicity from these events because we all know how heated competitive League of Legends can get. During the last 3 seasons we had over 500+ UNIQUE summoners attend and many of our own members have been able to climb the Solo Queue ladder thanks to the feedback given and the level of play they experience during the Amateur Draft League.
Everyone is invited to attend the Amateur Draft League. All you have to do is join our Mumble server and hop in the "vVv ADL" chat room in the League of Legends client. We have seen participants as low as Bronze 4 and as high as Master attend these events.
vVv Gaming will be streaming the Amateur Draft League event nights in HD on our Twitch channel, allowing for players to gain exposure as well as provide a venue for those who were unable to be drafted or attend to stay involved.
This also replicates the unique situation for many players where they are in the competitive 5v5 atmosphere, being casted live, with teammates who are listening to them, all while competing for prizes. These prizes include, but are not limited to, a SteelSeries Mouse & Headset, TONS of Riot Points, Triumphant Ryze, and a vVv Gaming T shirt.
In addition to these prizes vVv Gaming will also be hosting an All-Star match at the end of the season where the top 5 ELO participants and the top 5 MVP participants will clash in a Best of 3 match to showcase their skill and compete for a special title on our forums.
#The Amateur Draft League begins at 9pm EST every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. Players interested should show up around 8:45 EST.
#How to get involved:

You just need to join our Mumble server in the "Draft League" channel and the "vVv ADL" chat room in the League of Legends client BEFORE the start time.

If you have any issues setting up mumble, please arrive 15 minutes before the ADL start time and we will do our best to help you.

For fairness in team selection, all participants should be present at the start time so that all captains have access to the same set of participants. If you really would like to participate and know you are going to be a litte late (class, work, etc...) and it's within reason please feel free to message vVv C wide or vVv Sun Down and we can figure something out.

If you do not get picked, don't despair! We will have the remaining players either play normals, ranked 5s, or ARAMs depending on their interests.
