I'm looking for a coach and a duo partner. I will be paying 30-40 dollars a month. A contract can be written up if necessary. I'm looking to be friends as well but I'm hoping to gain lots of elo. agree that having a mentor/couch can help more depending on who you are, people learn in different speeds and forms, but i encourage you to not spend money YET, try other ways first, walk you way around, and if you get to the conclusion that you need someone to be there and tell yo what to do or what not to do, then and ONLY then go for couches.
Now looking for couches?? dont ask people around here, google LoL couches, there are a lot of communities and websites that offer HIGH quality couching at a good price.

Agree, but it is much more enjoyable and stress free to play with someone and learn on the go to your exact needs.

now there are reason RIOT made the limitation of ranks duos, before you where able to duo with a bronze being gold/plat/diamond/master/challenger, now u need to be one rank bellow, same rank or one rank higher to duo.
if you duo with someone that has high mmr/rank (ex.: plat5 with diamond 1) that could be eloboosting, but again, lot of high elo players have smurf, soo i dont think that would be a problem as long as they us their low mmr/rank smurfs...

You paying someone to carry you through ranks is elo boosting as well.

i mean, who goes around paying someone for duo carry and stay afk or feed? its common sense.
but well its just me i guess, ether way i find this matter really stupid, its more fun to improve and play good, it feels better, and you value the rewards b/c it took you lot of time, practice, and dedication. Just like anything in life, what easy comes easy goes! hard work, with lot of commitment its always the best option!

Idk all the details as i don't partake in it but it's a fuzzy line that i would just be careful around. It's also why a plat cant duo with say a bronze. Riot isn't a big fan of people getting moved out of their skill level.
