My team is topEkko midLux jungleMonkeyKing (me) bottomCaitlyn Leona

vs top Olaf midChogath jungleLeeSin bottomJinx Annie

To me, this should have been an easy win, let me explain what I witnessed going wrong. Ekko should have easily destroyed Olaf top. At level 1, you throw out your Q, hit Olaf once, disengage, return Q procs your passive. At level 2, you throw out your Q, hit him with E, disengage, return Q procs your passive. At level 3, cast W in front of your furthest minion, over his minion wave, repeat step 2, if the stun lands, you can throw another Q before disengage.

Ekko lost this lane because he never disengaged, sat there and traded with Olaf, who of course activated his W (as/ls). Olaf passive is bonus AS per % missing health and his W active gives plus % ls per missing health.

Lux could have easily won her lane against Cho'gath. You land your Q, you land your E. You land your E, you land your Q. She was doing this pretty well. So how did she lose to Cho? She kept trying to proc her passive, which is an AA after landing Q/E. So she lands her Q or E, she would walk up to this AP Cho'gath, who would then use his QW... bye bye.

With that said, the only lane I should actually have to watch would be bottom, because Annie/Jinx does have a party against Cait/Leona. So here I am otw to gank bottom when I hear "FIRST BLOOD" and see Ekko with a death timer. So I TP top to kill Olaf, then suddenly, Lux has a death timer. So now I'm running and I kill Cho'gath before he can recall.

During this time, bot lane is getting killed off as the should be, so I run down to bottom to gank, Lee Sin is also down there, I get stunned by Annie then chompered by Jinx and Lee Sin kills me.

The game just steamrolled from there, we FF at 20.

With that said, I'm looking for players who understand the kit of each champ. People who are smart enough to defeat their counters. This is a strategy game. It's not Tekken, Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. No long string combos, just understanding of champs and using their weaknesses to your advantage. I beat Olaf using Irelia. item 3153 item 3091 item 3006 item 3110 item 3065 item 3078 with 41% as runes and full tank masteries (all 30 in defense) I beat Lee Sin using Wukong. item 3074 item 3047 item 3068 item 3065 item 3071 I've beat Renny as Nasus with item 3027

All due to counterplay. There really is no such thing as a hard counter. If I'm using Zed and you're Xin Zhao, you're not just fighting Zed, you're fighting Zed and his tower.

So, send me a friend request in game and let's play.

Yes, I always run TP.

I disagree, even if you went even in lane, I feel like they had the slight upper hand later in fights. And never expect people to do what you're saying (eg. Ekko disengaging, etc.) Source: Plat 2

olaf can do a jg camp and go in lane lv2, every cs ekko trying to grab will be punish hard. idk why u think cho should lost to lux, thats a 95% skill match up, hit and dodge skill shot, its all depend on the player. im P4

http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Ekko just a tip this is all about you mad they don't know champs q out q in doesn't proc passive most olafs i know either go e start or q start ekko doesn't win that lane at all unless the olaf sucks paint. But the point is you don't even know the champ clearly.........

What point are you making here? Not trying to be a butt or grammar Nazi, but I really didn't understand this at all. If you're saying Ekko's Q doesn't proc his passive (Z-Drive), then clear you also have some illiteracy to work on because that's the 1st thing I see. So with Ekko having a 4.2 CD on his Q, he proc his passive with Q alone (doesn't even have to get close to Olaf). Even if Olaf has his ult active, you can dodge his Q with E and the speed boost from Z-Drive will help you escape to your turret.

  1. know champs and match ups before you talk
  2. ekko should not win that match up, if ekko jumps in to poke with E Olaf would E back and out trade with an auto+E true damage, ekko might have been able to do ok if he played like a B... And jump in to farm and back out, trying to trade with an Olaf isn't great plus Olaf can do a lot of damage with just his Q
  3. mid is a skill match up with skill shots, lux isn't the only one who is able to dodge, if cho can predict lux then just Q and silence right after. Plus lux is at a disadvantage considering cho is a lot more Tanky plus has a true damage ult which he can flash in and R if he can catch lux out when she is low or just silence Q Walk up R
  4. bot match up all depends on position, cait has the longest range in league only way for jinx to compete with it is using rockets which drain a lot of mana early. If cait keeps her distance from Annie, poke with Q she should be fine. At 6 Annie flash tibbers but cait should react with her E and jump back for flash the instant Annie does, Leo jumps onto Annie with her stun, focus down Annie (super squishy). Leo is a really strong support in the end, the bot match up depends on how good the players are.

Every game depends on your skill, even if you are really good with your champion, if the other guy knows how to play theirs into your champ better then they will ofc win.

Also I can't believe you built a rod of all items on Nasus lol

Also there are plenty of hard counters just depends on how you decide to play, then you can still win. Mid Annie vs yas, Annie tibbers full combo yas is down, there is no counter play. Maybe a jungle gank. Yas could just just roam and forget Annie snowball other lanes by helping them get kills or kills for him self without dealing with Annie too much

Are you serious, I'm online right now. My Ekko will destroy any Olaf player you can find in a 1v1. At no point did I ever say trade. Ekko level 5 Q with 40% CD item 3110 item 3165 against Olaf, can proc all 3 hits of the passive by itself. With my W (even with his ult active, that's still % damage), but I normally throw my Q, W, dive E, item 3157 , Q again, E again, ult, Q again, E again (W is back up by this point) to trade with Olaf. Last items are item 3068 item 3065 item 3047. 14 mag pen, 27 armor, 27 mr from runes.

If you guys were paying any attention at all, it clearly states that my Ekko was dominating Olaf, he just stayed in trading AA with him while Olaf's W was active and that's why he lost.

If you guys were reading what I posted instead of skimming over and making irrelevant comments that have nothing to do with opinion, I clearly stated that Lux was raping Cho'gath with her Qs and Es and she didn't get touched until she was trying to proc passive with AA.

Meaning, they had their lanes won before they tried AA so much. Cho didn't land his Q or W, Olaf didn't land his Qs against Ekko. They lost from trying to AA champs that will win that trade every time.

I'm talking about this specific matchup and how to play when you have the advantage, not your war stories of past. So before you try to make some irrelevant statement that has absolutely nothing at all to do with this post, please read the post in it's entirety before making your comment, assumptions and opinions make you look dumb, I'm stating facts here.
