Stuck In Bronze

FluffyBunnies··1 votes·816 views

Looking for 4 others whom are also stuck in bronze. Need to get out of this hell hole, I constantly drop 20 kills per game unless im tilted beyond all belief. I ping, I make smart decisions instead of tunnel visioning. All friends I have that are gold + say I play like I should be silver 1 tops, silver 3 avg. Sadly with feeders I sometimes cannot carry hard enough.

i used to troll on this account a while back. There are a lot of champions with a messed up history now, draven is one of them. Sadly my win rate will never go up quickly due to the fact that i cannot carry every game im in. I play champs that are easily used to roam for ganks while still able to win lane. For instance kassadin which is my main I will hardly ever lose lane with, and also make a bronze jg look like a jungle camper.

I already know based on experiences in gold and silver games i actually perform very well. SO, yes I play different in bronze at times because of giving up after a bad day of league games etc.

What I do wrong is i miss pings sometimes when im in the middle of a fight. I.e, im on a target i should be on, and someone pings in river while im mid, sometimes i just wont be able to focus on what they are pinging for as i burst down my laner. Other than that, my friends whom are way higher elo than me said i just need a team of people who are not real bronzes to play with. They noticed that when i play with other bronze players my decision making gets worse throughout the game with feeders on my team.

Again they said I play like a silver stuck in bronze. One suggestion they made was practice playing a champ that can carry a game so hard if snowballed that there is no coming back from it for the enemy team. Hence I started playing Kassadin.

the winrate i posted is all from within this last week, if you're a silver player you should have no problems getting out. kassi is ass at the moment, you can do it with any champion i bronze really but he isnt worth the effort imo, yasuo yi, and almost any ADC will get the job done better. play what you know and what works not what someone told you would work.

You just said to play someone i know and use and not what someone tells me to use, but you just told me who to use. A little bit confusing haha.

The winrate from over the last week should be quite low. If you look at my teams deaths on over 50% of the games, and then my deaths over 50% of the games you should notice a pretty common trend. Of course there are games where i do get wrecked early game and my laner snowballs out of control. In general though, im pulling off more objectives, or setting up more objectives to be taken per game than my teamates. As well as taking out targets whom are my goals to take out, adc, mid, jg [if squishy]. The way I set up teamfights for my team as kassadin is that of a any jg ganking from behind and 1 shotting adc/mid. I turn our teamfights into 4v5's- 3v5's most games. Which explains why im constantly achieving so many assassin kills per game as kassadin. So all in all, I do agree that maybe kassadin is not a good choice right now in bronze. Higher elo I guess using him is more rewarding because taking out an adc or mid laner before a teamfight is more useful for a team that knows how to take advantage of it. [i.e] I've killed Adc before a teamfight that the enemy team was forcing on us. That teamfight was now missing a huge chunk of their damage as their adc was also quite fed. Still their team pushes into our team, as I make my return to the main part of the fight and my team continues backing up and getting caught out by cc instead of engaging for a free ace against a main damage deficient team.

According to everyone I know that ive played with (including the people i played with from this post yesterday) I'm playing way above bronze skill level with my knowledge and intuitions of what is or what will most likely going to happen. I'm a very safe and calculated player having come from over 17 years of playing rpg's and mmorpgs. I generally only make plays that I know will benefit my team even if that means me dying. I.E. ulting over a wall to kill an adc/mid while enemy nexus is exposed. Sure I'll die, but that will be the end of the game for them. Situations like that don't often work out in bronze though as I constantly expect too much of my teamates.

That all being said, I either need to learn to not rely on anyone and try to get over that eventually instead of making that my mind set in future higher elo. Or continue to find a group of 4 like minded players stuck in an elo they are more often that not carry every game.

the only thing that mattered here is what you said at the very bottom " do not rely on your team"

https://plays.tv/video/5753e25f46663e53b9/reuploaded-minus-the-laugh?from=user

this is just one of my smurf games i wasn't even halve as fed as you were in some of those games i saw. if you want to climb out of bronze you have to be the team, because remember bronze is literally as bad as it gets, you are statistically worse the the majority of the player base by being there ( if i remember correctly silver is the most heavily populated). you cant just rely on killing thier ADC and mid ( that does work in higher elo's) because your adc might not have the ability to capitalize on the situation or you're front line might not peel good enough.

you'll get adc's like this who dont understand basic things like towers and vision and what they offer but you can also assume their ADC doesnt know that either.

https://plays.tv/video/5754d3559ef997b1e4/how-to-abuse-a-downed-towers-and-no-vision?from=user

you can pick out game after game where you probably did alright, but that doesnt show for anything when your winrate is sub 50% that means you are doing something wrong.

heres some free coaching.

how to get to silver ezpz

1 play annie mid

2 focus on last hitting with q and only farming with annie early game. get 150 cs at 20 min.

3 dont push the lane just last hit q farm to avoid getting ganked. (annie does have alot of kill pressure, but being to agro = more likely to die so just farm)

4 dying is bad, you lose exp, they gain exp. you lose farm which = gold. so if you get low and dont have any pots but dont want to go back... just go back early. if you stay with low hp you lose lane pressure. lost lane pressure = lost cs since you are afraid to go out and get them. so you basically stand under turret losing cs waiting for the jungler and mid laner to tower dive you. DONT DO IT.

5 place a trinket ward down in river bush and stick close to that side to avoid getting easliy ganked.

6 when mid game team fights happen make sure your team is near by and flash tibbers stun at LEAST 2 carries/squishies delete them.

7 kills dont win games objectives do, however kills lead to objectives. so if you do get kills try to figure out what objective you can take now that the person or people are dead.

8 continue to flash tibbers the squishies and if build permits zhonyas after you flash tibbers q w to avoid retaliation and let your team follow up.

9 welcome to platinum

(post 2)

you know as a player im understanding i dont rage at team mates and am supportive. when anyone does anything halfway decent i give em a great job ! when ever someone screwes up im like "its kewl man just take a breath and regroup" "we got this" stuff like that. when people are fighting i give em the ol "cmon guys we all make mistakes, just gotta keep working to get better"

and do you know what ? 95% of my games are super chill and there is no raging bitching complaining or toxicity. is suprising how being active and positive in chat diffuses toxic tendencies. and ive even won several where the team was biting ea others heads off at first, but then regrouped and won a "lost" game all from being positive and active in chat.

for that rare occasion the person is belligerent and just wants to piss everyone off because they are having a bad day or what ever, riot blessed us with a mute button :3
