Plat ADC, Gold support main Duo LF serious team

Arctic Snow Wolf··1 votes·222 views

Hello, I am a Gold 5 support main looking for a serious team that will do tournaments, do not add me for duos or ranked 5's please. I have been playing league for nearly 2 years, this coming February will be my second. I did my placements in S5 to test out rank because it was the very end of the season and i got silver 4. In S6 I did placements and got B5 then worked my way up to Gold 5 playing support the whole season except for the hand full of games I was placed in top lane. I am a aggressive support, but can be flexible in lane. I know where I am going to be placing wards. I want a team that will be competing in tournaments and go as far as we want. My main support is Alistar lv 7 with over 340K mastery points Other supports I play are Braum, Trundle, Thresh, Tahm Kench, Annie, Nautilius, Bard, Morgana, Soraka, Poppy, Shen http://www.lol-mmr.com/profilev2.php?summoner=Arctic%20Snow%20Wolf&region=na

There is a plat 5 adc that just started to duo with. We synergy going and going to be building even more. We share the similar goals, both dedicated, and have the same drive. IGN rtelegndary http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=rtelegndary

you are bad

lol why do you say that? because of my mmr? after all its a silver 1 while im in gold 5, which could easily be explained by my bad luck with ranked games? so please elaborate why im bad. Also is it bad that i was able to hit gold 5 on my first full rank season? after being placed in bronze 5? If so your the first to ever say that since alot of people ive ran into and even a couple diamond coaches I used before told me that was great.

Don't listen to him, but the thing is that it's more like "not good enough" to be considered tournament quality. Sort of like how pro teams only recruit from Master and Challenger.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you are bad, I seen plenty of people who are way better than their league. But the thing is you also don't have a "positive" win rate. (aka above 50%)

Also saying how you have a good synergy with one person doesn't mean a lot, if you can sync with people easily, that's something else. It's a reason not a lot of below x rank isn't invited to "serious teams", due to skill level and all.

I would recommend searching out people LOOKING for players, and if nobody will have a try with you, and you kind of HAVE to add people to do ranked 5s (team), as this is the best and kind of only way to prove you are worthy of even being on their team. This is why professional teams have tryouts. They might think your rank isn't good enough, but if you can PROVE to them that you are way better thank your current rank, they might just accept you. Tournament teams have to practice as 5 all the time, which is why you would have to join a ranked 5s team in the first place. You have to work your way up, start small with a ranked 5s team, and then climb your way up. You can't expect to jump straight into a tournament team out of nowhere. They don't know you, how good you are, etc.

Yes, you did a good job climbing from bronze 5, specially as a support only, that shit is dedication. But Gold 5 just isn't enough sometimes.

And if you read through all of this, hi summoner 31

lol hi back, i like that last line. but yeah i do understand all of that and i am dedicated for the 5 man practice which is what i want. ive been on multiple teams ones that are just forming and they fall part. I was part of a unofficial org working on sponsors and everything to become official even had a diamond-challenger team and tried to make a couple of teams under them and couldnt find anyone dedicated as much as me along with other reasons i left. And thats the reason i came here cause i do know there are gold and plats teams in tournaments and those amateur leagues which is what i want to join. im not trying to get on to those high elo tournaments teams as a back up I want to find one at my level to join even if its a back up to learn more and get better. I didnt think I have to get into a 5 man ranked team to get onto a tournament team considers all the tournaments and amateur leagues out there. Thank you for the tips, Ill keep looking for a tournament team my elo but will also look for the ranked 5 teams. I should be use to this let down since no one gave me a break when i was looking for a team to join as a back up to learn more about supporting. I was hoping for a break to prove im good since thats how i got on to 2 orgs rosters cause i proved I can support. Thank you very much for the tips and advice on how to move forwards. Have a great weekend.

Please cut your wall up a bit so its easier to read... <.<

And yeah, finding dedicated teams is hard. I am personally just to lazy c:

I could probably easily get into ranked 5s teams but, meh... I always end up getting all, mehhh.... summoner 3

If you live in an area, or generally close by to where they tend to hold these kind of amateur tournaments, maybe you could try to join those. It's a lot easier to get a dedicated team when you live in the same area and such.

Like doing a tournament seems kind of fun but, sadly nobody around my area does tournaments, and it would require me to have a level 30 account on EUW/EUNE. (I play from EU, because I play a lot during the night and the fact most people I chat with are from NA so)
