LF Lee Sin mains
^Title, I've been playing a lot of Lee Sin and I'm trying to master the combos he has. Would really appreciate any advice or tips that would help me improve my gameplay.

Practice and Quickcast

Before you attempt to make a play, picture what you're going to do to make that play (I.E. Q - Q - WARD - W - R).

Then think of enemy counter play (I.E. Poppy W prevents Dashes, this includes your Q and W.),

Afterwards think of your own countermeasures (I.E. Q - Q
- WARD - W -- _FLASH _- R).
That's a basic summary of how to get better.
It's more about 'when' to go in. Sometimes simply landing your q doesn't mean you should take it in. There's a lot of decision making involved and almost every game is different. Did you snowball? then you can afford to build that one ad item at first, feels good man - feels good. didn't snowball? get tanky and be utility.
If you aren't comfortable ward hoping and diving their back line, you can always sit back by your carry's and peel for them with your kick, possibly even knocking up a lot of the enemy front line in the process which usually leads to a won team fight (this is usually what I do as I'm not the best with him.)
but mostly, it just takes playing him and learning his damage and when you can explode people or not. Get ready to lose a lot before you win a lot, just being honest. he's not the easiest of champions, but definitely still worth learning.
