Lucky 13 - Diamond team looking for D5+ Mid Starter, P5+ Subs, Coaching staff.

Hello I'm the owner of Lucky 13, my name is Kevin. I'm currently seeking players who want improve in a team setting, we have a mid starter spot open and will accept sub roles for any lane right now but would pref mainly Top/Jg/Sup roles, if you do apply for a sub role that isn't one of those you'd still get an interview we don't just throw you away.

What we're looking for Right now is players who have dreams of being higher and are striving for greatness. Players that aren't contempt with where they're at, players who can give and receive constructive criticism and players who are able to consistently make practices.

What we'd offer Help to all players in becoming the best they can be, treatment of a family and not just a team. Everyone makes mistakes and we know, we're here to help correct them and turn you into the best you can be. Security, this team has been around for awhile and we're not going anywhere. We're not a team that's just gonna disband after a bad day or 2, we're here for the long haul and you have a place as long as you stay with us.

Our practice times are Mon-Thurs 6pm-10pm EST, being at least 2 practices a week is required for subs, 4 days for main. If this interests you fill out the application below and we can set up an interview.

For coaching staff We're looking for people who can give good feedback to the players, have a knowledge of the current patch and future patches. Developing players and help us come up with the best strats and team comps for victory. We're not expecting fast results, we know it'd take some time and would hope you'd want to take the journey with Lucky 13.

Name: SnowintheJungle Age: 21 Role: Support Champion Pool: Nami,Thresh,Lulu,Bard,Soraka,malz,zyra,karma Availability: Everyday, all day Strengths: Good at team fights, vision control Weaknesses: Need to work on laning phase, shot calling Why do you want to join Lucky 13?: Been looking for a team environment to play in, What goals do you have for yourself?: Become the best player possible at the game. Past Experience Y/N: Not much team experience but really willing to work as hard as possible and learn Additional Notes: So I started playing late season 5 and got to silver 1 mainly playing support/mid/jg. Last season i got to plat3 playing the same roles, mostly leblanc and kha'zix. However i had bad flame and attitude problems. I would get extremely frustrated and loose it sometimes in a bad loss or match. And at the end of last season my main account was banned for my flame and afk behavior. So i took a few months off at the beginning of this season, and really focused on dealing with my anger and frustration problems. And I am proud to say I am reformed and I do not flame, nor get frusterated. If someone is flaming in game i simply mute them and move on trying my best to win every game. So i started this account a few months ago. It was my brothers old account from like season two and I climbed back to plat mainly playing my best carry champs in leblanc and kha. But support has always been my favorite and now im back to maining it full time.

Strengths: Can cs very well in-lane, know my matchups, can peel very well in the late game Weaknesses: Ward placements, getting caught, pushing too far. Why do you want to join Lucky 13?: I want to be a part of a team who will actually compete and get better not like my previous teams who would become social and never play together again. What goals do you have for yourself?: My biggest goal this season is to hit diamond and possibly higher but also get better as a whole with some champions. Name: Frightning Age: 28 Role: Coach (In game, I have experience playing every position) Champion Pool: Basically all of them Availability: Currently pretty much anytime you want, so long as I know about when you want me in advance Strengths: Years of experience including group play in 5-man teams and vast knowledge of the game Weaknesses: Lack of playing experience in high elo Why do you want to join Lucky 13?: I would like to try my hand at coaching a team of players that play as a unit and are looking to improve their game. What goals do you have for yourself?: Find out if I am good at coaching other players at this level, and whether or not I enjoy working as a coach for a competitive LoL team. Past Experience Y/N: I have past experience playing in 5-man groups with voice communication at a fairly high level (though we rarely actually played ranked, for a time, many of our 5-man normal games would have multiple Diamond rank players on the opposing team). Additional Notes: I have been playing LoL almost since the beginning (I got into it during Season 1), and have very much enjoyed playing it over the years. Initially I got into it playing with college friends, but most of them have since moved on from the game. I have a tendency as a gamer to be a generalist, I like learn everything I can, try everything, experiment, etc. For this reason, I typical understand games far better than I actually play them (and LoL is no exception). I have played every position each for many games. I own and play nearly every champion in the game (part of why I am not particularly good at actually playing the game, I am not well practiced on any one champion because I own and play too many). Because of my experience, as well thirst for knowledge, I have ended up learning a ton about the game, and that knowledge together with my experience elsewhere in my life teaching people gives me reason to think I may be a good coach.

IGN: QQmonica Rank: Platinum since S4 Applying Position: Analyst Details: I want to start off by saying I'm an introvert but this quality helps me a lot. One aspect of being an introvert is paying a ton of attention into detail making sure everything is perfect. (although it's hard to be perfect) I've also took a DISC personality test at my workplace and I'm a high S/CI. Long story short I'm someone who wants to be around a positive atmosphere but also pay attention to lots of details. Experience:

  1. I'm a Shift Leader at Chick Fil A, there are a some qualities you need to have in order to be a Shift Leader.
  • Being a thermostat and not a thermometer (Being able to stay cool even when the situation is not looking too hot.)
  • Constant feedback/growth to other team members
  • Having the perspective of the upside down pyramid (Leaders are nothing without their followers)
  1. Coached/Managed my own team: Final Rank - 3 different platinum 5 teams in s4
  • Analyzing and writing down both team/player feedback
  • Reading patches / Analyzing other players, and Team play
  • Strong belief that structures create behaviors
  • Making sure the team is both mentally/mechanically stable Conclusion: My boss always tells me that life should never be easy, of matter of fact life should be hard. If life was easy no one would strive for personal excellence. I believe with a ton of grinding and personal growth I would be a good asset to this team. One issue might be scheduling but I hope we can look past that and work something out!

ParanoidLuck) Age: 15 (Really young i know) Role: Jg (sub) but i can play mid Champion Pool: Lee, Graves, Ivern, Khazix, Elise, Gragas Availability: 5 pm EST till 9 on weekdays. Weekends anytime as long as i know when. (Summer break soon, Ill be available often.) Strengths: I roam a lot and i don't farm as much as some junglers. I prioritize getting my lanes ahead over my own experience and i can take a back seat role when I have to playing tanky/supportive junglers. Weaknesses: First time trying out for a team. Weak late game shotcalling. Why do you want to join Lucky 13?: I want to be the best I can be. Started pre-season 5 and started from the bottom. From Bronze 1 to Diamond 5 this is a journey that I think I can continue and playing with a real team will help me reach master tier if possible. What goals do you have for yourself?: Reaching masters then possibly even further. Still at a really young age and I hope to have gaming as a way for me to make money in the future. Availability: Very open, I do work - but the schedule is light.

Strengths: Strong communication skills in and out of game, 6 years of experience playing league - and good game sense to show for it - and a willingness to be genial out of game, but serious in game.

Weaknesses: Mid game wave control is lackluster, and out of game, if someone refuses to take criticism or admit that they were incorrect, I find it hard to take them seriously inside of the game

Why do you want to join Lucky 13?: I have a lack of real direction, I feel as though I'm not sure what I want to play and league is losing some of it's appeal to me, I'm hoping to regain some of that by being a part of the more competitive side of it. What goals do you have for yourself?:
