I play not only Summoners Rift but also a lot of Crystal Scar (Dominion) and Twisted Tree Line. I find that Essence Reaver is a niche item that works really well on certain champions such as Jayce (which also happens to be a champion that I play a lot). Why is this item not available on other maps aside from SR? Adding it to The Crystal Scar and The Twisted Treeline won't break the game mode, but will definitely add some item diversity to them!

WereScrib2 votesBT is not an option on those maps. Though to be honest, there's no reason it shouldn't be now. BT wasn't an option because of the lack of ability to farm your BT reliably especially on Dominion and Howling Abyss.
Gavran1 votesYeah, I had the same thought. I play a lot of ARAM and stacking BT could be a bit of a noob trap there. New BT would actually be kind of cool though. Anti-poke but mandates pushing. I guess they don't want it to compete with the uhh.. forget what it's called, but the pickaxe + vamp scepter BT replacement. Or they just haven't thought about it. But, hmm. All I can think is that they consider ER and BT to be... too big for those maps. But I don't see it myself.
Sukishoo1 votesThey have Sanguine Blade in place of Blood Thirster on those maps, which is basically the same item. Overall the SB is just cheaper so it can be built faster, which is like those maps having their own version of Tear so that it stacks faster

WereScrib1 votesSanguine Blade really isn't much like BT anymore. its more like Rageblade. BT is a defensive item now.
Its kind of like how I honestly wish we had Warmogs in TT/Dominion as the not-Warmogs replacement for the old HP stacking Warmogs isn't...very...good.
