I think URF is very fun and I haven't been matched with teammates that flame for picking non-meta champs. Im glad URF is back and it is more fun than ever.

Anyone who takes URF to seriously needs to take a break from the internet.

What timezone are you guys? When I'm active on the Boards (which is usually in short bursts between 6-8 p.m. EST), I mostly see
- bitching
- moaning
- trolls with higher Elo than anyone else, ever
- record high usage of the words "tryhard," "scrub," and "noob"
- URF hate.
Then, around 12:15 a.m. EST, people lighten up, as if by magic, and say things that more closely describe what I experience when I'm playing the game.
What changes between those two times?

Me either. I did have one match where someone questioned my Caitlyn pick; which I proceeded to win with.
Everything is OP, just some you have to be more aware of their weaknesses and not try to 1v5 with them (or even wait for an ally to 2v1)
Yeah I thought the mode was pretty fun at first, too. Then I played a game where Nid, Mao, and AP Rek spammed their skills into our fountain killing us basically instantly upon spawning. Now I don't play Urf mode anymore.
My only complaint is how they multiplied hp and dmg by 1000. It means if I use a large AoE ability in the middle of the enemy team plus some creeps, my screen is filled with numbers, and my wooden pc lags. Besides that, it's a lot of fun.
If one of my teammates starts raging in URF I just all chat everyone and say something along the lines of "Lol, soandso is raging about URF, what a noob!" Everyone usually joins in and they get butthurt and leave and everyone has a better time.
People dodge every single lobby, it's so annoying.
I don't know what's more annoying: The small number of bitches that play urf, or all the people bitching about them on the forums.
I never liked URF. It's only entertaining on the first few hours after release. After that it turns into a clusterfuck of stupidity and sameness.
I am just tired of seeing the same 13 champs
zed, eve, malz, ez, shaco, malphite, sona, blitz, hecrim, fizz, leblanc,wukong and vlad. Make it random already. I think it would save many of us from the frustration that occurs when we set out to have fun just to go against an AD Malz, that pushes the game to be over by either team in 10 minutes.
I played URF constantly for days after release, I missed the first URF mode because of internet/computer issues at the time so it was my first time playing. I got hooked but eventually I feel like I played myself out. I find myself bored because I've played everything I feel like playing already. What I love about URF is playing new exciting things. I played one game where we got pentakilled by an AP Shen lol that's what I love about URF.
Some champs are just auto-win. Poppy for example. If there is a Poppy, congrats, you win instantly.
I've been a little disappointed in the lack of team to team interaction, possibly because people are too busy spamming abilities to type, but I have seen no raging to this date, even after playing over 20 URF games.
So much fun......... Oh wait, brand flames me for not being able to kill fiddlesticks, zed flames the whole team because we died so many times, ashe invites the opposing team to report our team. Fun
Some games i have fun, others I have flaming teammates and a morg and lux combo perma snaring me
I haven't been flamed and I try to play a different champion every game. In fact, I get more annoyed when people pick the "meta" champions rather than something to have fun
I have yet to be flamed as well, but I have seen a lot of the same champs in most games.
