We could really use to split the Maps and Modes board into separate sub-boards for each of the 4 maps (and one for temp game modes). The Dominion and TT communities really rely on having their own areas in order to have discussions and get information out, and the small size of those communities means that posts would get quickly buried under SR stuff and the infinite "BRING BACK URF PLS" threads.

I personally don't give even a single fk about the complaints of ARAM players or the constant whining of Summoners Rift solo queuers, TT nerds need their place to spam for end of season rewards team recruitment, and Dominion players need somewhere to go to vent about the next end of the world as they know it.
Trying to condense all of that whining into the a single area just leads to to masses of SR brats drowning out everyone else due to sheer numbers.
TL:DR: we need a different board for each different map because otherwise it simply devolves into another GD, and that just "splits the playerbase".
This will end the map, I think. We can't have this. This is horrible. First off, the URL is called summoner's Rift. Wtf? Secondly, its a jumbled mess of a bunch of different crap. TT and Dom need their own sections, pls.
I, too, will be throwing in my hat with my fellow players. TT, Dominion, and even ARAM players need somewhere that allows them to discuss their respective maps without getting buried under a giant heap of never-ending calls for URF to return and half-baked Featured Mode ideas.

They haven't even bothered to re-post Map Specific Balance content and I sincerely doubt they're going to assist with cross-posting guide content because they sure as hell aren't going to bother releasing quality information about the maps themselves.

They really need to start acting like they care and not writing everyone off because they are slowly losing their playerbase to BOTS and smurfs due to banned players if they don't start treating their Community all the same.
I'm honestly pretty upset over this. A large chunk of our community bailed a few weeks ago as a result of Riot's promise to continue doing 'maintenance' on the map and nothing else. I was willing to stick around and see if Riot was going to make good on giving us something to help improve the health of Dominion without giving us ranked.
But this?
This seems like an intention campaign to destroy what's left of our community.

I used to really like the SR forums because it was relevant to me. When I headed to these boards the top posts were all dom/TT/ARAM. It would be nice to have the split again because there are people that don't care much about anything outside their chosen game mode simply because they don't play it.

At very least we should create a set of core threads to be repositories for Modes ideas, For Aram Feedback etc etc... I did that on the old forums. Would you want me to set those up here too?
Sad part is, this post is already being buried. And that's how Riot wants it: circlejerk is more important than actual concerns. Concerns are for idiots that should play other games because fuck them, we're Riot and we know better than everyone else.

The only alternative to a full separate board would be to implement a tagging system, and allow view filtering by tag so as to view all posts within that map, and set up default filters for each map that can be applied or tagged with 1 click, so new players with interest in our maps will notice them and can easily see what we have to offer for advice etc.
The ideal is still to recreate the old sections as their own boards, and I suspect that would still be easier to implement.

I paid some attention to this board (maps n modes) Today and realised it's not that active, which is probably the reason why they condensed all of them into one.
Looking at the forums, they weren't as active either.
Though this can be to players being accustomed to the forums and liking them more than the boards, so once they decide to disable posting on the forums, here will likely speed up.
Question is, will it speed up enough for them to create separate sub boards for each map?

Gonna leave my 2 cents in for this... It would be nice if, instead of of "New | Hot | Best | Recent" or whatever it says at the top in Maps & Modes, to have "Summoners Rift | Twisted Treeline | Crystal Scar | Howling Abyss". I'm pretty sure we get few enough posts that we don't need New Hot Best, etc.

Yeah the problem with this is that no one plays the other maps. The boards move slow as it is, this would just bring everything to a crawl.
