Weather effects on the new rift?
Hey guys I'm pretty excited for new summoner's rift update for league but do you think Riot should add weather effects onto the new VU?

I got to say I think that would be really cool but how much would this effect people stuck with toasters?
I'm torn. On one hand, I'd love weather effects like rain and even add a day/night cycle so we can see some champions with passives and skills that work different at these times.
On the other hand, this is probably a graphic nightmare to deal with and people like myself would most likely disable weather effects to run better. Which is unfair if, say, the weather effects cause things.
Cautious yes from me.
Kennen's damage should deal 50% more damage with rain.
There's going to be rain in the north blue side of the jungle! In terms of day/night, I think it would change the game dynamics too much. I'd be up for some tentative cloud and weather effects across the map though.
I would love to see 3 simple weather effects. Rain, Snow, and Fog. They can be an evenly blanketed effect with minimal memory usage. and obviously, there would be an option to turn off weather effects for those who don't like it.

there should be lightning by the baron pit maybe =D
Damn , I
tee it'll be awesome :3
A suggestion from me , is it not possible to lower ground for water, so when champs walks into they sink down 1-2mm and players get impressions champs is walking in the water instead of walking like jesus or ON the water...
Weather would be nice for the feel of the game, but minimal weather is probably the best option. Maybe something rooted to each quadrant of the map- like crumbling erosion at the top and rain at the bottom
You guys are trying to transform the game into a HoN ??
I think that weather effects would add a great deal to the feel of the game. I agree with casper892 that minimal effects would be the best. That way the environment feels more lifelike, but the weather isn't distracting.
