Team-Unique Champ Swap on Death -- New Game Mode
Alright, so, I get bored at work... and I think about things like cool game modes.
Why not have a mode where every time you die, you switch champs. However, each team has one champ visible for next switch... and you only switch when you die. You cannot see the other team's champ pool, and it changes each time somebody dies. I figure the champ that the next death would switch to would be in the tab menu, next to your team.
The reason why I feel like it would be awesome is because of the variability. Imagine if each time you got a kill, the enemy's team changed slightly. You kill a Quinn, get a Dr.Mundo. Or, kill a Xerath, get a Renekton. Each time you switch, the experience you gained, and the gold equivalent you had earned is applied to the new champion, so that retain about the same "power" level. Strategies change each time somebody dies, on your team and theirs.
Of course, executions shouldn't count. Not fair if you could go die on Baron to get the champ in the pool. Not to mention the craziness of team fights. You can only see the NEXT champion, so if 4 people die back to back, then you have no idea what your gonna get... and your entire team changes. Crazy, right? Hope your comfortable with a lot of champions, or you will be trying all KINDS of new champions.
Then, lastly, runes and masteries. Sucks to suck, only get the set you picked first. Everybody better make very general rune and mastery pages.
Basically, this is it:
1: Each team has one random champion next on the "list". Can't see anymore, just one. (A little champ icon on the tab menu) 2: When somebody on the team dies, then SWITCH to that champ. Their experience and gold switches too. Not the items, the gold equivalent. 3. The random champion rerolls, so that the next person to die has a different champ to switch too. 4: Good luck trying to strategize when your team switches constantly!
Anyway, let me know what y'all think. Been rolling around in my head for a few days.
Good luck on the Rift!
