league of legends: Make Ultra Rapid Fire a Permanent Game Mode 2015

change.org is a well known site for Petition's & there is not one currently active this year so i made one

there are currently 2 closed Petitions on change.org 22,324 supporters for "Make URF a Permanent Game Mode" https://www.change.org/p/riot-games-make-ultra-rapid-fire-a-permanent-game-mode-on-league-of-legends

75,859 supporters for Riot to "keep URF MODE" https://www.change.org/p/riot-games-keep-urf-mode

lets make try to make a change this year guys, riot only has a few game modes and maps, URF is truly unique & we shouldn't have to wait a year to play it

please share the links with your friends, anyone you know who loves URF, facebook twitter, everything, i cant do this alone but together we can make a change

This has been the most precious time I've ever spent with my friends & even randoms & after playing this game mode for the few short weeks 2014 & 2015 i am going to do what i did last year, quit playing til next URF see you in 2016 Riot

Unfortunately Riot has made the valid point that people have fun with it at first and then get sick of it. I know I did.

Plus, the work required to balance champs on URF is almost as much as the other three modes. You can't just slap nerfs that worked on regular 5v5 onto urf and expect things to go well.

when i get sick of a game mode i play another game mode...

no one is asking for balance, the game cant be balanced its URF... Riot just needs to reduce the IP gained per game to prevent people farming wins

But then gameplay gets stale with the same picks and bans.

Trust me, it's better that it only happens once a year.

so then have Riot do random bans, i hate the whole banning thing anyway

i dont think its better that it happens once a year because i know im not the only one whos quit LoL and will only login and play during URF week

i almost bought a skin & then i realized i only login once a year to play this game mode, whats the point il only use it for a few days

Ok so there is a petitions with 75,000 people wanting it to come back and riot should listen to 75,000 when there are around 60 million people playing League each month?

In a business sense if the 75,000 people stopped playing league and only cam back for urf Riot would not loose out on too much because they still have over 60 million people who are gonna play each month regardless because they enjoy it.

Sorry but the minority of players who want it to be permanent will probably not win out and with the way things were going this last couple of weeks URF actually got more complaints from what i read than people enjoying it.

TBH i am glad that its gone and dont really care for it to be made permanent as it really does not help you improve how you play or make you any better at champions and the game

Oh no people won't learn how to play the boring ass real mode of this game, oh the tragedy. Let people play what they want, if they want to be wannabe superstars in ranked, fine, if they don't and just want to play a video game for fun, that's fine too. Put a disclaimer that "this is not the one approved esports mode and people will make fun of you for being a casual if you play this mode, also it's unbalanced and solely for fun", there, no one will get confused, and there'll be actual choice!

Oh, I forgot, this is riot "we love choice... *removes all but one choice*" games.

I am a pretty casual gamer and play this game for fun.

I enjoy learning the champions i own and playing against others.

I am not an lcs wannabe or superstar in ranked i play normals and aram a whole hella lot more than i do ranked and i enjoy it. I love trying new champs out in new spots and new builds and improving how i play the game. Most everyone who started playing this game started long before urf ever came out andt hose who didnt start till after last year didnt start just to be able to play urf. Most people play this game because they enjoy it and its fun.

URF mode is fun but really at the end of the day if it is a permanent game mode only a small portion of people are gonna play it alot and it will end up with longer queue times than dominion as in the 60 odd games i played of urf it was similar bans almost every game and similar team selections almost every game and yeah it got real old real quick.

I can say i had fun with friends but i can only take a couple of games at a time because of the same picks/bans game after game after game.

It has been said before though if they make it permanent then there will have to be soooo much done to it that it wouldnt even resemble what urf was and then people will really not want to play it.

i am not a smite fan in no way shape or form... in smite there are 7 game modes avail to public at ALL times

1 Conquest
2 Arena
3 Assault
4 Joust (3v3 and 1v1)
5 Siege
6 Match of the Day
7 Domination

match of the day has 62 game modes that rotate in and out

what i dont understand is how LoL players seem to think that "only a small portion of people are gonna play it alot and it will end up with longer queue times" smite is doing just fine with all their game modes with a smaller player base

League of Legends has 27 million daily active players daily as of Jan 27, 2014 67 million players log time on a monthly basis.

104 people have viewed this page showing interest in keeping URF perm game mode , 7 votes of those votes are from my friends leaving another 7 who voted after seeing this thread

that means that 1 of every 14 people who see this will vote however at that rate that would mean there should be 1,374,562 who wont vote because they dont want to take the time of day todo it or they were not aware

i was not aware of any petition for URF in the past. that means there are other people out there like me who didnt get a chance to sign the petition

Yeah URF is so well sought after because they introduce it now and again, it would get boring with it 24/7, I don't get all this crazy shit with '' BRING BACK URF '' Unfortuneatly you don't own riot, I'm sure they will next year, same time. Just wait...? Be patient.

just like last year, i am going to be patient & wait another 365 days before i even think about launching my LoL client to truly enjoy the game
