PSA concerning Bard.

If you do play him, please don't use an AP build. Look at his AP ratios. Please also refrain from using a penetration build, look at his base damage on his Q. Tanky CDR seems to be the best build, although he seems rather weak in general.

He has awful damage, and he doesn't have any skill that makes his allies do more damage (Janna has her E, Lulu her E, Leona her passive, etc). Aside from his Q, his cc isn't that great. The utility he brings is hampered on Dominion as well. The E tunnels are nice and all, but they seem to have a larger impact on SR than on Dominion. His shrines are easily destroyed by the enemy team in many cases. Oh, and he's actually not very tanky. What he brings to the team is generally not worth the opportunity cost, I feel. Most other supports and most other tanks can generally bring more to the team than he can.

Most other tanks and supports will bring more damage or cc or damage amplification abilities. Brand has mainly one skill (his Q) that's really good on Dominion, and that doesn't make up for the rest of his flaws, at least not at the moment. His passive also seems to scale too slowly on Dominion.
