[Summoner's Rift Idea] Ao Shin - The Supreme Dragon

Riot revealed Ao Shin last year in september (I think it was the thirteenth of the month) and Ao Shin is still in development, maybe even far more months away.

This idea is short and I hope that Riot considers to enable it, because I find that the new Summoner's Rift (Since I entered first the map on the PBE months ago) just awesome. First, it lacked of life - no animals, no plants, I kind of missed the old one. But now, Riot did his best and made it greater.

However, my idea is: Once Ao Shin will be released - IF he dies, he randomly appears at the edge of the map as a spectator.

Imagine how Ao Shin pulls his head high at this picture below - imagine how freaking awesome it would look.

But wait, I've got more ideas!
If Ao Shin died and in the meantime Dragon appears or is revived, the Dragon normally flies from the surface of the top lane and comes to the dragon's pit. Now with Ao Shin, they could battle each other. What if Ao Shin and the Dragon would play Poker? :P Like in the joke picture of 4 dogs how they play poker.

Since I'm a Custom Champion Designer, I kind of hope that Ao Shin has a rival dragon Champion - they then could fight outside of the map (on the horizon) while they are both dead.

That's a lot of stuff to put in for little to no profit. It would be to distracting during the fighting. It would really only be enjoyable to the people that have died, and they would have to die at the same time as Ao Shin, not to mention, people would have to remember to look, rather then buying. So in conclusion, it's a great idea, but a lot of work for little to no profit.

You realize that current new Summoner's Rift map has those "enjoyable" things everywhere, including the DRAGON WHO ALREADY FLIES IN THE BACKGROUND.

So in conclusion, it's just an idea, but not worth downvoting like a twelve year old kid.

First off, I didn't down vote or upvote anything. I posted a comment but did not click the votes. But now I did down vote because you were rude. I know there is stuff like that everywhere. But there aren't actual champions flying around the valley in the background playing cards. So yeah, what you are wanting isn't a little thing, your idea would be a huge amount of work for a huge animation idea.

Not to mention, maybe you should ask if I downvoted before assuming I did. Because now I have just simply because you were rude. Don't be rude next time.

Downvotes are not there to display your dislike - it's about pushing down or pushing up discussions that belong to the sub-forum. Like posting "Hey I've got here some free RP, get it here" should get downvoted to Nirvana. And not an idea I had, about adding some special event.

There's a difference between pissed off and being a dick. Like you see in my post, I was modest, normal, I've tried to post an idea - how does the community react? Instant and constant downvotes. All I wanted was to create content to expand the minds of the community, and not being a target of toxic attitude. So yeah, I'm getting fast pissed off if none appreciates what I do, despite here and now, or in other threads that have been attacked with downvotes.

Down votes and up votes are just a measure of "I like this/I don't like this". To get something closed you need to report it.

You accuse the people who silently down vote of being toxic, but your ranting and raging in your own comment system is infinitely more toxic.

Having dead champions moving around in the background doesn't make sense to implement.

The idea seems very much like it was born solely for the "dragons are the coolest thing ever" crowd, not the League community as a whole. What about Shyvana ? Anivia ? Quinn (or rather, Valor)? Why single out Ao Shin? Then what would you purpose for the non-flying champions?

The idea proposed just doesn't feel like it belongs any more than having dead champions play volleyball in the fountain. Worst case scenario, some people will choose Ao Shin when they want to intentionally feed just so something more interesting happens. You're going to need to explain more of your reasoning of why champions should interact with the background while dead before many people will agree with you.

I thought, that if Ao Shin comes, he could be in the background either. It's kind of "stupid" to think that people would join and intentionally feed, only because of a easter egg. And even if, more reasons to get banned.

On top of that, the Champions don't "die" in real. Or do you really think they feel the pain, the grip of death on their throats, only to be then revived in 30-50 seconds again?

And why "single out Ao Shin?"? It's AN idea for Ao Shin. If Riot or anyone else likes it, then others could take part as well. But as it seems, people don't like it at all. And my first intention was, that because Ao Shin is the grand dragon who came to save Ionia, he could have a more unique appearance.

Summoner's Rift isn't in Ionia though. So why should Ao Shin get an animation for something there? Not to mention, if the Dragon flies around in the background and then goes to Dragon Pit, does that mean when Ao Shin is flying around in the background, he will also go to the Dragon Pit? Oh! Not to mention, Ao Shin doesn't have wings, what makes everyone so sure he can fly? Just because he is a dragon? We have no proof of anything he does other then one piece of art.

On top of that, in a thread of Meddler, he said that Ao Shin is far in the future (that was said at last year in december.. I think it was November). He also stated, that they didn't even colored out his appearance, nor his kit. He said, the most problematic part would be his anatomy - he has legs, though he flies. And that the design team needs to find a way for a walking and flying animation.

Personally I hope Ao Shin never gets released, the constant complaining from the community at large has driven me far away from liking him. We already have the role of Dragon, Shyvana, and we already have enough wind people in the game, Yasuo, Janna, Riven. He seems to me like a pointless champion, do we really need another champion that can make tornadoes?

League of Legends is a place for everyone. There are Champions like Braum - a very manly character. Champions like Jarvan, a warrior and prince - Syndra, malevolent woman who soughs for greater power.. and so on. Shyvana is more of a shapeshifter. If she becomes a dragon, it'll last for about 10-15 seconds.

And he doesn't seem to be a particular wind Champion - more like he controls weather. So thunder and so on are things that can adapt to his character. For me, there are some Champions I seriously don't like both lorewise and appearance, but in the end.. each player has a favourite Champion. And it's a shame if one player needs to find his favourite Champion, because there's none who fits his desire.

For me, Nautilus was and is the Champion that resembles me next. Whom I can identify myself. And every player needs someone like that.

Nautilus? How do you compare yourself with Naut... he is an undersea Titan who carries around a giant anchor. Personally I see myself closest with Jinx.

You see only the appearance, but not what is inside.
Nautilus has a very deep character. He lost his previous life, everything - he maybe had a family or was someone who gave a promise. He's mysterious and a pessimistic optimist, who, despite everything happened to him, still can go forward.

I'm really not sure why you've been just flat rude to criticism to your idea. You say that its bad that people just downvote you, but that means they don't think there is anything of merit with it. Its not worth implementing in their eyes. I've downvoted you just for being a jerk to anyone that has come here to say why its not a good idea.

You've got your idea on this pedestal and any criticism means that apparently they are evil, stupid and ignorant and don't understand whats going on or how great it is. In reality its not that great of an idea. If Ao Shin was canceled I could see why you would do it, but until then its really a poor idea that isn't going to help the map or the community at all.

It's downvoted because yes, it's a neat idea, but it's not worth it. This post doesn't need upvotes because, sadly, it's a bad idea. Just because people don't like your idea, and don't think it needs to be a popular post, doesn't mean we are all toxic. But you want people to be rude, I have a feeling you are the rudest one here. I'm a EUW player. I've posted on the EUW forum and the whole forum consisted on toxic people who pestered me for my true intentions - to create content. I've created an NA forum in order to post in NA, this was in the past before the new forum was there. Then the requirement to post in the forum was raised to level 5 - I've leveled up. Later, the requirement was level 6. I can't even post in GD because they raised the requirement to 7.

And tell me - now that you accuse me of being a toxic player who got banned or a new player, or even worse - how are you better? You have your account still. Good job. This means that you aren't showing your toxic attitude ingame or you just got chat restricted instead. Thanks for being a valuable community member, by downvoting already downvoted content for no other reason than disliking the creator.
