Make URF a Gamemode that stays!?

Hello everyone!

So, I imagine I'm not the only one here that loves URF, I would also say that I'm not the only one that enjoys messing around with friends in URF to create a fun and joyful atmosphere for all! This is why I feel that URF should be a game mode that stays on the League Client permanently. I understand URF is a game mode that comes out on special occasions, but personally I started to get extremely bored of League and stopped playing the game for over 3 months - and I guess after 2 years of playing everyone does - but then URF made a reappearance. At the site of this I jumped back onto League and long story short started sweating it out on League again and wasting my money on virtual items I will never be able to touch - I cry every time - and just started enjoying the game again with friends!

I believe I am not the only one that has come back to League for URF as it creates a fun environment that players can just mess around in! Furthermore, URF allows people get stupid things out of their system so they don't ruin other people's experience in more competitive playlists such as Ranked. Therefore I feel that URF should become a game mode that stays as it has many benefits to Riot and players alike.

For Riot: They bring back more players therefore get more money from in game purchases. For Players: It creates a different game mode that allows them to have fun and switch up their play style without any risk of abuse!

Let me know what you guys think about this and maybe we can get URF to stay!?

If URF stays ittl become boring too, and make normals looks even worse.

Theres a reason its a temp mode.

How does URF staying cause normal's to look bad? I understand what you mean about it becoming boring, but it's exactly the same as normal's and ranked isn't it? What's the difference between these two apart from one giving you the ability to get a rank? With URF it allows players to have different play style, a different atmosphere and a whole different reason to stay on League. Getting bored of URF will be hard i personally feel as you can play it to just lighten up your mood. For example when you just lost a ranked game, everyone is fairly annoyed so playing some URF will help them to lighten up and calm down before their next game due to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that accompanies URF.

League is already kinda split between the normal players and the ranked players, this would just further split the community into "tryhards, casuals, super casuals."

And plus, urf has lost the fun for alot of people since it has a meta

Since it was around already, and now its suffering

Because it was designed to me temporary.

What about Dom TT and ARAM? Do they not factor because they're a niche game mode that only a few people play? Because if URF were to be permanent, it would eventually settle into a niche player base while all the tryhards go back to their routine. Hell, the mode might actually be more fun because all the mouthbreathing meta-tards will be playing their 9-5 job mode, while people who like fun (a surprisingly small subset of people in this community) can play URF whenever without being yelled at by the turbonerds.

But urf will develop a meta, and since its not normal league, get abandoned by riot balancing wise, making the meta even more stagnant.

URF may have its own Meta, but that's what is fun about the game mode! The fact that it is different is what sets URF aside from the other game modes. Riot seem to enjoy changing the game - which is good as it keeps it fresh - but I feel that having Riot not control the meta in URF will keep the fun in the game as it will not be messed around with and although Riot try and keep the game as fair as possible, they always end up making it a little less boring in my opinion. This is because champions such as Kha’Zix get nerfed extremely hard and then just become boring and unplayable. Although I understand how not changing the meta in URF will cause the game mode to get boring, it brings the diversity and the willingness to people to give champions such as Ezreal, Sona, Gangplank, Hecarim and so on, a try which they may not ever normally do in the normal game modes.

Furthermore I agree with YellowBricks that it will form its own community and the "turbonerds" will not develop in URF making the environment an enjoyable and friendly one.

Thanks.... another person with some sense.... I'm a niche player...I play.pretty much aram and game modes. I prefer urf... amongst the other modes.... but that's my opinion. I support riot... by buying riot points To buy skins and other items. Love this game..... but I am not one to play normals or ranks. Don't care much for them. once again... This my opinion only. I would be willing to pay to play to have exclusives to gameodes all year round. Have a separate server for those that want to be involved. ... then the rest of you can play.your ranked and normals.for.free..... and the few of.us can play.how.we.want.

i am so sick people saying urf will get boring....so normal never gets boring? i think it should stay its realy fun.I played every single day lol but i didnt play once normal and i am still not bored.If urf leaves i leave to.
