Quick play game mode

Riot should introduce a quick play game mode. Put a 2x multiplier on all experience and gold gained. It would be nice to have a mode where games were a little shorter without sacrificing balance. Any thoughts on this?

This is one of the negatives of League, I don't always have time to play for a whole hour and thus I don't get to play at all.

A shorter game would be great.

Yeah if they took how Dominion is run and apply it towards a Summoner's Rift mode that'd be awesome!

This sounds great! I would probably play it a lot more than the regular mode then. It seems like something Riot would be hesitant with though. I honestly don't think they would do it.

Yeah a new game mode without some gimmik seems like they would just be cannibalizing. But I think I might be quicker to buy champs if I knew that I didn't have to invest the next 40-50 mins trying them out

It was called Dominion.... Riot let it fall on it's face and die when people didn't trip over themselves to abandon SR for it. Later they swept it under the rug and pretended it never existed.

To be honest, I'm thinking about playing it more often thanks to how much fun I had with Ascension. Zooming around as Hecarim on that mode was just too much fun >.<

Problem with dominion, its impossible to get full build which makes it kind of weird. Instead of planning a loadout, you go for 1-2 items and the game ends.

Problem with dominion, its impossible to get full build which makes it kind of weird. Instead of planning a loadout, you go for 1-2 items and the game ends.

Usually you can get a 4 or 5 item build in a standard game... if the game is ending by the time you only have 2 items, it's about equivalent to when you would surrender at 20 in SR because you got stomped/stomped the other team and they surrendered. also most of the high end more expensive items have cheaper dominion versions... DFG-->DFG, Deathcap and zhonyas --> wooglets

its not urf…. its just double exp and gold O_o i saw nothing about cooldowns/no mana/energy costs, and I'm pretty sure urf had no gold/exp bonuses

yeah I'm 95% sure they will since the urf icon says 2014 there has to be a 2015 :p. idk though I'm just assuming

Double gold and exp? In SR? "without sacrificing balance" lol. If you thought it was snowbally before...

But yeah. Dominion was the mode for players who wanted short games. I can assure you that if there was an alternate SR mode Riot would ignore it and let it die just as fast.

I think that would kind of be the point to make it more snowbally for shorter games. But obviously balance wouldn't be as simple as just doubling gold and xp.
