Ranked is Disabled w/o Announcement!?????

I just got out of a Ranked game to find that I could not play another. The Ranked button doesnt even show up, just Team Builder, Normal blind & Draft. There was no annoucement of this, I checked the forums and News. Is this the work of or is this a glitch? I Can already hear my thoughts ing throughout my head on not playing ranked today :(. Please fix Riot!!!! Oh and also I only got 8lp for the last game I played if that has any connection or if my MMR is just complete trash. Thanks! Please up to let Riot See this!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I added some friends hoping to play some Norms/Ranked today but when I qued up the game crashed and wouldn't let me connect. I thought it was my internet so was resseting router and restarting laptop but it is the server. Teemo Is probably behind all this. What is funny is they didn't even put up an announcement. Please fix soon Riot.

Why would riot give you a skin because a bug? lol what that is just selfish. Anyway your lp is due to the bug since a lot of people are having issues connecting to the game a lot are AFK which makes the ranked games unfair so they disabled it.

As per the status, Riot appears to be aware of the problem and are working on a fix.

Network Operations – 8:52 AM We are aware of problems with players experiencing disconnections and are working to fix this. We've temporarily disabled the RANKED_QUEUE queues while we investigate an issue that's negatively impacting games.

#Recent Update:

RiotWulalowe – 9:56 AM PST We have determined the fault to be a cut fiber in Portland that is causing the degraded performance. We are working both internally and with external partners to restore service as quickly as we can.
