After all the hard work on some game modes, dont you guys at Riot just hate it when you remove the mode?

Lets see the game modes that were released so far till now (Not in order):

#One For All

Ok, so, this game mode was actually pretty fun, you would sometimes get hilarious teams like a full karthus team or a full trynda team, this game probably didnt take that much of work so it feels OK to make it a temporaly thing.

#One For All: Mirror Mode

yeah, pretty much the same as one for all except that both teams use the same champions, Not much of a change really.

#Hexakill

This game mode wasn't very interesting, both teams get an extra player.. yeah that's pretty much all.. it was fun deciding where that player should go though.

#Ascension

This game mode was actually pretty fun, killing the Ascended was really nice when both teams would just group up in the middle and fight each other for him, it also seems like it took plenty of time to make and think of, really sad to see all this work go away :[

#Nemesis Draft

TBH i didnt play much of this game mode, it was mainly due to the enemy giving me the same champions everytime, anyways, the idea behind it was pretty neat, it also didnt seem to take alot of hard work so i was fine seeing this go.

#Black Market Brawlers

OK, this game mode was REALLY fun, with all the special items and minions, it was enjoyable and it seems that it took tons of work to accomplish, Didn't you guys feel disappointment when you removed it?

#Ultra Rapid Fire

i think it is safe to say this was the most fun game-mode i ever played so far, really, the Nidalee spears and Lux ult's were insane, all while you had infinite lane sustain depending on your champion, it was so damn fun, but it didn't really take alot of planning and hard work (Aside from banning certain champions and balancing some for the game mode) all they did was remove mana, add CDR and some other stats such as tenacity and move-speed, however i wish it would come back for a 3rd time, never loses its flavor.

#Doom Bots

This mode wasn't bad, the bots were hilarious to play against, its like fighting a Challenger as a Bronze, you keep getting stomped but hope that you somehow will win because they are just "bots", The garen-inside-the-bush thing was also just funny to watch, it seems like Riot did put some work into programming the bots to give them increased IQ, and the awesome abilities they had, overall this one would've been nice if it stayed.

#Butcher Bridge

Maybe this wasn't a game mode exactly, but the map was beautifully detailed with those fishy rat shark thingies that replaced the Poros, it had a nice view and seems like a waste to remove this piece of art.

The solution?

#Make the sandbox mode

the solution is actually much simpler...leave them there and treat them like all non-LCS summoners rift modes and fucking forget about them, no updates, ignore bugs and cries for patches and just let them have fun. You know...like dominion and twisted treeline, where you cant have a ranked Q becuase "we cant keep ALL the maps up to snuff" "We arent THAT good at our jobs" so wtf riot..just leave um there so people have reasons to spend money on shit that has no value

They should always have a featured game mode. Just cycle them out every two weeks. That way they don't have to worry about featured modes depopulating other queues and the modes stay fresh.

Look up "fallacy of sunk costs". I have no objection to them keeping more game modes in, but there's actually no good reason for them to base that on how much work they already did on those modes.

so... I could see riot making a "premium package": 500RP/month and you get 3 random game modes available for the full month. New set of modes each month; no pressure to make new ones.

I would definitely pay for this at least once. I wonder if Riot would consider it.
