Just a quick question. provisional placements, is it strictly based on w/l? does it take personal performance into play? if you lose all ten games but did well in your role do you still get wood 5?

Sir ArmaMalum1 voteswin loss is the only part of you actions taken into account, but who you face against also matters. If you lose against people higher than your seed score at that moment you would be knocked down less than if you lost to someone lower than you. Naturally winning is still the best thing you as a player can do, but that's how I understand it works.

Sir ArmaMalum1 votesSpecifically what happens is your rank at the end of pre-season (which is carried over from the previous season) is used to seed your first few placement games. So, for example, of you were Silver you're first few placements would be (ideally) against other silvers. Whereas a Plat would go against Plats, and if they would be able to place higher if they won just as many games.
