I think that instead of poro should be rats. Such a dirty suspect site. Rats relate to pirates. The rats in the basement, on a ship... In books and movies about pirates always been rats!! i think they were going for a poro rat there, but I definitely would prefer if it was a common, big, smelly ol' RAT

These fish might actually be called "Bilgerats". I didn't even realise until the title here pointed that out to me.
It is sad that people prefer silly fish than something that fits thematically...
They are actually rat-shark hybrids --- body and ears of a rat, but fins and teeth of a shark. It is such a seafaring-driven place that even the rats there know what it means to get their water wings.
