why rocks?
i preferred much the organic feel of the earth around the river ingress/egress to the lanes. the square rocks feel less organic and less appealing
further, the massive amounts of desaturation are making the game seem kind of visually "serious". i think one of the major reasons that we got into the game in the first place was that it looked fun instead of "serious".
good luck with the new map. i really hope we can maintain an organic and fun feel even with the aritificial/man-made looking structures around the map.
