It doesn't feel like any champion belongs on the updated SR.

The new map looks simply fantastic. It has a strong, cohesive and identifiable theme. The only problem to me is that theme does not fit ANY of of my interpretations of Runeterra. There are some truly interesting if not well utilized cultures in Leagues lore and I simply don't see any of it coming out in the new map. We have Piltover, Ionia, the Freljord, Noxus, Demacia, the Void, some other places I might be missing and whatever circle of hell the Yordles come from. I understand we can't have a map that contains elements of all those cultures as it would look ridiculous and you can't play favorites and feature a few and omit others, but the new SR looks almost alien to me. From a different universe. Am I spoiled by playing a culturally rich Howling Abyss and Twisted Treeline? Perhaps. Perhaps I'm just used to staring at our old and busted SR.

It does look great though and I am desperate to play on it.

It says that barons area looks more ruined than other areas it is just a sketch maybe there are some very subtle things from the lore scattered about. I like how it looks more epic though, since this field is what replaces widespread war it feels more suitable to its purpose. however I don't personally see any real reflection of any of the lore in the current rift either. Maybe I'm just not real observant though...

Pretty sure that all the other maps take place at certain locations such as Frejlord and the Shadow Isles. SR however is just a battleground, hence it shouldn't represent any culture. Personally I feel that the new map feels more like a forest with roads than a battleground for Runeterras strongest warriors though.

Well none of the champions really DO belong in Summoners' Rift. I mean, it isn't really a place where they're supposed to feel like they're home, it's just an arena for them to fight, and it's not like the Howling Abyss and Twisted Treeline, where they're both located in certain areas of Runeterra.

on the other hand ..it actually now honors a part of its name.. summoner's rift... what i mean is that only now its seems more like a RIFT .. it could use a litte more summoners though.. i like your idea about different cultures.. but not every culture.. it sould depend on where in runetera that rift is.. only the most lore viable through topicality, cultures..

Umm i've been wondering seeing that the walls are alot larger now, will this affect how riven's wall jump looks? Seeing that riven actually JUMPS over the wall will she jump alot higher now? Or just jump thorough it? o.0
