I realize you guys have most alt gamemodes temporary so as to not disturb the balance of your main modes, but why not have them available in custom matches and simply disable any gains that may be made from the match so as to make it so most persons don't just stop using the actual modes for a more desirable alt.
That's what a lot of people are thinking and Riot did mention something about making URF permanent in the future. I hope they do.
What about keeping the featured queue up permanently, but rotating out a new map/mode combo every week (shutting down rotation for a full feature every time a new mode is added)? Keeps the visits short, allows for a BUNCH of combinations, and lets people visit their favorites every so often like the champion rotation does.
