So i was thinking the other day that maybe riot should introduce an offline mode? As in you can only play against bots, have access to all characters and summoner spells, but none of it go towards your account. This would benefit people with internet speed problems, or people who can only sometime play. This would also you to try new champs, new builds, or different ways of playing champs. Thoughts on this?
FDru9 votesWon't happen, ever. The information that would be required for an offline mode to work would make it 1000x easier to develop hacks for the game.
iamthegoatofwar1 votesand it's riots job to fix said hacks from working they can deal with it.
Silents4293 votesOkay but that is like crippling someones leg and telling them it will get better when they could have just not broken there legs in the first place.
iamthegoatofwar1 votesno it's making riot do their fucking jobs. oh no riot might have to spend money to make better servers and prevent hackers. oh fucking well riot.
Silents4293 votesThey are making better servers.
And this is in online only game and people are finding pisspoor reasons to try making it offline.
Caramelxxcandi2 votesI think it sounds good on paper, but reality I feel like this would hurt riot in the end and lose a big group who is sick of the sever problems, which would lead to another load of issues. Which I just don't think riot is willing to take the risk of losing a big part of the community. Now I know League has a huge community but if I owned a company, I wouldn't want to even lose just one customer. I think it comes down to the sells $$$$. But I do like the idea of the mode. I just don't see it happening.
