So i was thinking the other day that maybe riot should introduce an offline mode? As in you can only play against bots, have access to all characters and summoner spells, but none of it go towards your account. This would benefit people with internet speed problems, or people who can only sometime play. This would also you to try new champs, new builds, or different ways of playing champs. Thoughts on this?
Won't happen, ever. The information that would be required for an offline mode to work would make it 1000x easier to develop hacks for the game.
I think it sounds good on paper, but reality I feel like this would hurt riot in the end and lose a big group who is sick of the sever problems, which would lead to another load of issues. Which I just don't think riot is willing to take the risk of losing a big part of the community. Now I know League has a huge community but if I owned a company, I wouldn't want to even lose just one customer. I think it comes down to the sells $$$$. But I do like the idea of the mode. I just don't see it happening.
