Would it be nice to have 1v1/2v2 ranked ?

I think that is would be nice if we get 1v1/2v2 ranked mode. You cannot blame your teammates, it would show up your real skill level(you cant be ''stuck in elo hell'') and the game is getting old and most people that I talk with are bored of always playing the same mode on the same map, So, that would also give another reason to play this lovely game.(2v2 would probably by duo queue'ing and doing this you also keep the synergy between champion and strategy between players.

I think it'd probably need some balancing and tweaking before immediately opening a ranked queue, but I definitely remember having a blast on Magma Chambers.

I, on the contrary, think there would be no need for any kind of balancing (maybe removing trinkets, or just wards in general, leaving Sweeper there).

Why would there need to be? There are already two 1v1s and a 2v2 on SR.

I think that for a ranked 1v1 something similar to the Howling Abyss map would work really well, except that you can actually go back and buy items.

And it wouldn't be random pick, obviously, and you could heal up and probably have like Homeguard.

No this game is not and I am sure most do not want it to be balanced around 1v1 or 2v2. There are other games available to do this in. I suggest you go play them. It's that simple.

I do not want league to be something else.

Uh, it won't. Just because there will be 1v1's and 2v2's doesn't mean 5v5's or 3v3's won't be there anymore.

If you think that people will not start bitching and moaning about this not being balanced around 1v1 or 2v2 then you are very naïve.

This game is based on team balance. Those that understand this balance and are able to properly navigate it rise in rank where people who do not understand stay low ELO. It's that simple.

Go play another game.

This game, yes, is based on Team balance. But what happens when its not? Its based on you. So you 1v1 or 2v2 someone, what's the hurt? Its not deleting 5v5's or 3v3's is it? No, its not. So what's the problem? Or are you just scared people will get pissed, feed, and say "im playing 1v1 after this"?

Granted you can pick a champion made for 1v1's(Tryndamere for example) every time, but obviously Tryndamere still has counterplay, but you have to be skilled to use it. So what, my dearest little friend, is wrong with the idea of a 1v1 or 2v2?

Push for it all you want. It won't happen for the reasons that I gave here. There are games like what you explain out here. Go play them. It's that simple. Guess stupid is stupid.
