New Game Mode/AFK/DC fix

I think I have a solution to AFK/DC players in ranked play. First of all I am sure everyone thinks it unfair and is tired of losing LP over this. Riot could come up with a new game mode called something like "Ranked Fill" which players could queue into for certain roles like in team builder and when a qualifying AFK/DC match becomes available they are generated into that team and the AFK/DC player is kicked. They could start with pre-rated gold/items and level based on average level of the team. I don't know if it would be better to pause the match while this is happening or how quick the new player could be loaded in after the old one was kicked. There are a lot of details regarding the rules Riot would have to figure out because people will of course try to exploit this and use it to boost in various ways i am sure. But its an idea i think could make ranked play a little more fair. Let me know what you think or if you have ideas that would make this better. I love this game but im just looking for ways to curb the frustration some aspects of this game generate. Thank you , bigearn

the only way i see something like this working is if they dc before the game loads, once a game has started it would be dumb to bring someone else in, what if the reason of the dc/afk is because someone on the team is trolling, feeding, or its just to late to come back from?

it would mean the new person gets brought into a already lost game.

too many issues for it to be viable

I can't see it working, atleast not with connection issues. One of my friends had to try for ~20 minutes to reconnect, but he was trying to reconnect THE WHOLE TIME. If someone joins this queue, and takes that spot, then what? Is the player trying to reconnect permanently kicked out, or are they allowed to rejoin? If they rejoin, what happens to the guy who filled? There are just too many questions for something like this, but its an OK concept.

This seems like a really good idea. The only problem is what if no one DC? Then people have to wait in queue for a long time. This is a really great idea but rito plz find a way around this. Draven
