I'm completely okay with grinding for icons.
Remember the Twisted Fate icon from the first act? I think it was pretty cool until everyone and their mother had it.

It does seem lame when everyone is using an easily obtained icon, but most of them are changed not long after the event is over.
Eh, just did it so I don't feel bad for not having the icon later. I kinda gave up on the getting the act 3 Graves + TF icon, because it's either I win a game before I can get a BM item, or lose miserably when I do get it first. I'll just be sticking with either my NME icon, the store Ascension, or the Team Builder Assassin one, an most people will probably just switch back to whichever icon they used before the event
