ARAM SNOWBALL: Working as intended?
Has anyone ever considered that maybe they want the popularity of ARAM to go down? Essentially to increase the player base for their feature game mode, the Rift. These changes have so undermined the integrity of ARAM that most of my friends have said they will not play it anymore. That it's time for Summoner's Rift again. So, by driving people away from Howling Abyss it may be working as intended. Food for thought.
If they're intentions were to enhance the gameplay in ARAM by adding this, I don't think they completely thought this thru. To give a dash ability to every champ in the game is ridiculous for some champions. For example, Dash + Cho's Nom Nom, Ammumu Ulti, Galio Ulti, Nunu Snowball+Ulti. Ramus Taunt, Shen, I could go on and on. These champions weren't meant to have an ability like this, it's too broken. Snowballs flying everywhere turns the game into a circus. The description of it isn't even correct
Mark: (Throw a snowball in a straight line at your enemies. If it hits an enemy, they become marked and your champion can quickly travel to the marked target as a follow up).
They forgot to mention it does scaling true dmg and I believe it also stuns for a split second when you jump to the target. It also has a 20 sec. cooldown and a range that's almost as long as a Lux Ulti. Broken!
I don't believe they didn't know the impact this would have. So therefore I must consider that they may be trying to diminish the popularity of this game mode. If that's the case then I believe it's a success.
