4v4v4

I thought up this new game play mode where three teams of four play on a map shaped like an equilateral triangle. The map is similar to the summoners rift map except each teams area is a little smaller.

There are still three lanes and a jungle.

A team could have 3 people in lane and a jungler/ roaming support.

It would be sort of unfair to leave a support bot lane because one teams bot lane is taking on another teams top lane.

Once a team was defeated their nexus would belong to the team that killed it, and the team that killed it would get a large amount of gold.

In order for a team to win they have to capture all three nexus's.

Once a team was defeated they could go to the end game screen or they could continue watching the game.

There could also be a Barron like monster right in the middle of the map, this could spawn after 30 minutes or so just to help the game go a little faster. this monster could give gold and a strong buff.

I like the concept and all, seems interesting. Just wondering on a couple of things though:

A) If Team A's minions won the push in the middle section, which lane would the minions choose to go town? Would Team A's minions go down Team B's lane or Team C's lane or what? And, B) If a Baron Nashor-like monster was in the middle map, how would teams be able to push with their minions with a big monster in the way to eat up all the minions that try to push? Similarly with teams who are just not capable enough to deal with a strong monster like baron.

On the whole I liked the idea of the map, but yeah those are just my couple of concerns there.

I think Baron should be at the middle left or right of the map

I don't think it would be good for the monster to be on one side of the map because it would favor two teams and leave the other one having to go to into enemy territory.

I think the minions would have to split between the two lanes to avoid favoring one side. If there was a champion out in mid lane I think it would be good if the minions followed the champ.

I was thinking when the baron spawned a wall could go up around it to prevent minions from attacking the baron. The minions could go around the baron on whatever side worked best for them.

This has been done before except it was 5v5v5

I just had the same idea, only with a round map, not a triangular one. On top of that, the middle monster, a giant two headed dragon, would give a global buff that would give huge rewards to the slayer and his team. The middle lane minions would come in double waves, so that they could split up and take both turrets.

That is also a good idea for mid lane. i don't think two sets of minions would be too overpowered.

defeated teams should be able to keep playing but not be able to respawn unless they capture a nexus
