Champion Mastery Points In Aram Games

I personally think that Champion Mastery Points is a great idea. But, don't you think that when you play an Aram game you should get Champion Mastery Points, for the Champions you do own when you play them ? What if you mainly play Aram ? You will have no champion mastery points which equals zero bragging rights to your friends ? One could argue: Well, what if you get a champion, you don't own, like a Champion on rotation ? Well, in some Summoner's Rift games people play champs that they don't own because of the free champion rotation, that doesn't stop the other Summoners from getting champion mastery points for their champions. Also just like in Aram games you get a reduced amount of ip maybe Champion Mastery Points could also be reduced in Aram games. Therefore. I think there should be champion mastery points on Aram for people who own the champs they are playing. Also, spread the word, send this links to your friends.

i mean, i feel like if you play the champion, even if its on aram, then you should get mastery points for it, cause you played the champion, and theoretically get better at the champ you get

Every mode except custom should give champion mastery, if it gives ip it should give mastery

I would vote against that, personally. While you learn some aspects of the champion, the game-mode is rather limited in comparison to Summoner's Rift. You don't learn anything about laning, ganking, flanking, splitpushing, rotations, objective control, or applying pressure as the champion and many opportunities are closed to you.

Most of what you really learn from ARAM (regarding Champion Mastery, at least) is a limited form of team-fighting. However, these fights don't allow for the possibility of flanks, controlling vision, ambushes, or contesting objectives; you just face off with one another and poke until someone gets caught or initiates a fight in the middle of the lane.

While you get some experience with the champion, much of it is irrelevant to the primary game-mode and that experience is lacking or incomplete in many respects.

Perhaps they could set up a second Champion Mastery system specifically for ARAM (possibly Dominion and Twisted Treeline while they are at it), but I don't believe that the system should be shared across game modes.

This is an awful idea, mastery points are designed to give you an indication of your dedication to a champion and give you a desire to improve. Playing ARAM is the opposite of improving at anything, sorry to burst any ARAM players bubble but it is a simplified novelty mode that makes you worse at the game.

They said no because they would have to rebalance the system for ARAM

As well as making an entirely new mastery system exclusive to ARAM since being good on ARAM isn't the same as being good on Summoners Rift.

Maybe create separate Mystery Points System for ARAMS ?
