I want to see: ARAM rank displayed on ARAM loading screen

I do not believe the intimidation/impression factor of someones rank will go away anytime. Unranked to Diamond, friend or foe, whichever it may be, Summoners place value on each other based on what rank they are. This is all fine and dandy, but it got me thinking...

ARAM is my primary game mode. I have something around 700-750 completed games and Diamond rank. What happens when summoners take a closer look? They see me unranked from a few (miserable) Classic games.

Normally I may not care (as much) but this significantly lessens any positive player/champion feedback I may have in-game for a Summoner. Who wants to listen to an unranked Summoner babble about tips & tricks for a champion? 'He probably has no idea what he's talking about'

I like to give out help and suggestions where I see it is needed, and it's extremely frustrating being ignored and ridiculed based on a misleading display of my rank. ARAM and Classic must not be played the same if you are to win, and thus there's a few things Summoners may need a little help with to pick up the pace.

My proposition? Make displayed rank/visible stats relative to the game mode! I don't want my Classic no-rank displayed on the ARAM loading screen, and when my stats are being read while ARAM is loading, the first to pop up should be my ARAM stats. I am proud of my games and this false advertising has been pushing my button for a while now.

So I ask the LoL community, what do you think? Is there anything you would like to add to this idea? Lets make this a realistic, plausible thing and perhaps Riot will be convinced. ;)

Not for ARAM, but for Dominion we definitely need MMR badges on our profiles. If they refuse to give us a proper ranked queue, then give us a way to opt in and display our skill using the queue we have (and access to end of season rewards based around it.)

We might also allow a badge for TT normals because of the lack of ranked soloq, as MMR badges would also help people find similarly skilled teammates to form ranked teams with.

If you wanted ARAM MMR badges, we need 2 changes first to prevent cheating for higher rating.

1: Open the whole champion pool. Everyone is balanced over a large number of rolls (and hey Rito, it promotes sales of your skin boosts since you like money so much 2: If you dodge a game, you LOSE MMR equal to a game loss. No scumming for a better team comp. When a dodge is equal to the worst-case scenario you could have had by actually playing the game, you won't do it for anything but a serious IRL reason. (dodger's premade teammates also take the MMR loss. No lowering the impact by taking turns dodging with your buddy.)

And hell, throw in an SR normals/teambuilder badge too. Some people do better in that format, let them show it.

Borders have 4 corners. Each corner could host a badge of a different map. Give players the option to toggle these on or off for each one, so nobody is forced to reveal their pseudo-rank to the public if they don't want to. If a player has a certain map disabled, when playing ON that map they cannot see other players' badges for it during loading (can still see the other 3). Since you will be matched with similar MMR players, seeing theirs while playing a map reveals your own, and that's what players with the option disabled do not want to know or worry about. This keeps it as an opt-in system, so those with ladder anxiety don't need to worry about having to know or being judged.

ELO is damn important even in ARAM. Wish people in game would believe me when I make it my priority.

Are you Diamond or are you unranked?? Are you saying in ARAM you think you would be Diamond ranked?

As it is, you can't see ranks for your enemies on the opposing team in the loading screen so it'd just be for your allies. Your allies should all be around the same MMR as you though. I honestly don't think people pay too much attention to rank once they are in-game. most people just don't like taking criticism.

I do want to see stats that are relative to ARAM when I'm playing ARAM though. I think increased stats visibility would be cool and just a nice overall feature. As it is, we can't even see our Wins to Losses until the end of a match. Let us see all of these things. I also think it would help legitimize ARAM a little bit more. I hate how often people say "it's just ARAM" and I think this might help a little. I wouldn't mind if they said "it's just a game"...

As soon as you start adding ranks to ARAM people will start getting toxic and others will start getting ranked anxiety. Logically it would make no difference, but psychologically people will flip a shit. This has been proven and tested hundreds, thousands of times. Put a tangible rank on something and people go nuts.

It's a nice idea but then you would have to separate a ranked ARAM from an unranked ARAM, and that would just divide the community which seems kind of pointless.
