Dropped to bronze 5 with 6 provisional matches won.

I am just wondering how this is a better system than last years? I would understand being bronze 2 or 3 but not 5. 6 out of 10 provisional matches is really good, and shouldn't drop me down in rank. If this is how it is going to be, why should us who are just starting to try and rank up even bother trying. When I got my bronze one last season I was happy, but I lost it due to how unorganized many bronze players are. The whole ranking system seems strange to me because of this anyways. Instead of being based off of individual skill it is based on teams performance. Which one toxic player can ruin it for everyone. That is what happened to me a lot from bronze 1 to bronze 2. Toxic players who would rage and then usually drop out of the match caused me to lose many games. Now that I finally was getting good teams I go down to bronze 5?

I usually do not complain on games systems, but this just seems wrong. I will continue to try and play games to rank up, but I still think that this should be changed.

Last season you could do good in your placement matches and get a really high rank when you didn't belong there, and you'd just get your face smashed in until you got demoted to a better spot. This season it's based almost entirely on your MMR, plus everyone loses a little so it's more likely you just get demoted some (unless your MMR was higher than your rank was, and you do decent in the placements).

Doing average and having an average MMR for your rank will only end up in a demotion.

I understand that, that is why I am saying at least keeping my rank would have been nice. No, someone shouldn't win all 10 matches and get diamond. However, you shouldn't win most matches and go backwards either.

Also, I do not know what score I need for mmr, but mine is 828 which is supposedly high for bronze 5.

I actually have not played ranked yet for this season but I have to ask what "mmr"is that you are talking about?
