Thoughts on nemesis mode, and why im taking a 2 week vacation from League.

Now to start off I want to make it clear I don't dislike Nemesis, in all honesty I was actually looking forward to playing it. However there are a few changes to the game as a whole because of this game that I don't agree with. Let me start by giving my opinion of the game mode itself, It isn't that good, is it bad? by no means, but is it good? well it isn't URF to say the least. I kinda feel like they could of come up with something a little better then this, or for once actually come out with a new map instead of some game mode we get to stare at in our mode select for 2 weeks. In all honesty I haven't even gotten a chance to even play the mode, and the only reason why is because of dodgers, and the ques ban.

Which brings me to my real issue with this mode. Honestly if the mode was just bad, I could forgive that, forget it was there, and move on no skin off my teeth and I wouldn't be here to complain about it. However they did more to League as a whole because of this game, starting with the increase of ques timers for dodgers. Now I am all for the punishment of dodgers, I myself do not dodge unless I have a legitimate reason to do so, and I am usually apologetic about it, but having to wait upwards of several hours for a ques dodge because your someone who does dodge on occasion because they don't wanna have to sit through an hour long game with someone who is just gonna troll them is not even remotely fair, whats worse is these extended ques are affecting people who aren't even playing nemesis, and how can that even be fair since the only reason the ques bans are higher is because of that game mode?

Needless to say I am not very happy about that, I myself was banned for 25 minutes all because in my first game that I tried to play nemesis with I couldn't pick a champ for the enemy because 30 seconds is not enough time to pick a random champion that you feel you can at least do semi well against. And now not only did I have to wait for 25 minutes before I could just go back to my normal games, but now I might as well not even play nemesis at all because I have no chance at all to get the icon for it, honestly its the only real legit reason to play the mode and I cant even begin to imagine anyone is gonna get the icon at this point, considering I've already seen someone try to get in the game and have to go through pick 8 separate times just before they got to play, only to have 3 leavers in their first actual game.

So unless the either fix the ques issue, or get rid of the game all together I think I am gonna have to take my leave of League till then, I am extremely disappointed in riot this time around and I expect better things from them in the future, kinda think they should just apologize for the mistake, give everyone the icon and remove the game mode and move on, accept it as a loss and leave it alone, but whatever, I guess I will see you all on league again in 2 weeks, till then happy trails everyone!
