Custom Games need more Options (URF, Hexakill, etc)

Everyone for the longest time has been wanting URF to come back. I got really annoyed every time I heard it. But then... I was thinking, and why don't we have custom games more customizable?

Think about this, a poro hexakill URF mirror match against the doom bots of doom lvl 5 on the ascension map. Or any of the combinations in between. Whenever you have a special gamemode, I think Riot should try and make it an option to play it in a custom game. I think it would take a lot of programing for the doom bots, so forget that idea if you must. But I think that otherwise, our custom games should be able to be customized in this way. Maybe also add an option for a starting level or starting gold or gold/exp bonuses from things like minions or jungle camps. If it a custom game, why not make it truly custom?

This idea isn't new, but it hasn't been noticed in the threads yet. If anybody has suggestions or comments, I think Riot would love them.

I would like this. I'm pretty sure Riot removes game modes because they don't want to deal with the hassle of making them "balanced," but in Custom games, who would care? We'd all have fun.

Well, recently they asked in a survey if people would be willing to pay for these custom games modes :V

Speaking as someone who actually got that survey, it was about changing LoL to follow a subscription format, and one of the things was early access to new game modes, not having them be permanent.

Myth busted. Dominion isn't popular because it just doesn't flow well (and is now 80% bots... how is riot not banning these people?).

Modes like all mid, 5 for 1, and URF mode will not wear out their hype because all of those modes were in dota 1 for years... and people regularly enjoyed many of those modes. No, they won't be balanced... that's ok! It's not supposed to be. The lack of balance is what makes custom games FUN, rather than some competitive meta chore.

Another mode currently in dota as a permanent option is ability draft. I doubt it's doable in LoL, and yes, it's buggy as sin... but 10 Champs get to draft the skills from a list of 12 random champs... some combinations are horribly overpowered... but others are too, and everyone has turns picking from the same pool. ... it's always an option and some people prefer it... but most of us play a variety of modes.

Another fun game mode is "least picked." Game tracks which characters you play the most overall... and those are what's banned for each player. Really encourages learning new stuff rather than just playing Fizz or Kat and bashing your face on the keyboard until you get a pentakill.

So basically, I would end up playing Fizz, Katarina, Yasuo, Zed, etc. Joy. Some people actively avoid playing those champions, y'know.

I would be happy if you could just do any of the game modes by themselves in customs. That wouldnt take a lot of programming and it would be real nice

I think they should have some temporary game mode open for custom games at all times so I have an easy way to cheer myself up after a bad loss. Rotating game modes every 2 weeks would be extremely fun and would get me to play a lot more. However, I'm not a fan of the idea that custom games should be completely custom.

Why would you say or even feel that? Why would you want to deny more options? Where's your loss?

It's not about denying more options.. We still need people to play SR and if you can create a custom game that will dictate how long the game will take then no one will play normals. I don't want to have to lobby surf through customs to find games with the same people every time. It's a bad idea.

That is an **amazing **point, and I agree with you there. However, I just want to see it as an option. Sure it may get stale, but I just want to be able to choose to play it, and I cannot right now. When all of the game modes become stale, as you mentioned, then people will go back to the ranked queues, but the casuals (filthy casuals XD) can still play it as they choose. And also, if all of this does happen, it doesn't mean that Riot will stop making new gamemodes too.

Agree 100%.

Having only played normal matches for a long time I have converted over to ARAM (all day).

Normal/Ranked are still awesome, but I have a liking for the quickness of ARAM matches, plus I'm forced to learn a new champ on the fly, which is how I prefer to live my life.

URF was, and still will be, my favorite mode. Bring it back to us! We love League! :)

If you had more control over the game and were able to pick whatever you wanted when you wanted it would wreck the game. No one would ever play the regular game again.

Yes I definitely AGREE that would be awesome if you could play a custom game and play wit your friends on say URF or Hexakill or something like that after a gamemode is removed from public quest it should be put as an option in custom game. I didn't play when URF was out and I really want to try it I think this would be a awesome addition to the game

god riot thinking of going subscription based, well that would be the day the other shoe drops for me and i move on to a different game. because once that happens riot's decline will begin its bad enough that the fans have to pull their hair out to get riot to listen to them but no one wants league of legends to be subscription based.
