The Area Behind Summoners Rift **HELP**

Is there anyway to get rid of the background? Recently I've been having massive FPS drops while playing and in my last ranked game it screwed me over really hard. I've determined it happens when I can see the stuff behind Summoner's Rift like the area where the dragon flys by and the area behind the fountain on red team. If there is anyway to turn it off or get rid of it PLEASE tell me
