New Map Content

Just a few ideas I was throwing around.

I'd like to see a three way map with 2 teams and a group of bots. Basically a 3-way war. This could also be cool with 2 opposing teams of doom bots and the other champs have their base in the middle of the map and have to defend against 2 incoming doom teams (they happen to be hostile to each other but your base is in between their two bases (this would be a 6-player map).

A map or mode where a champ can switch out 1 ability with another champ's ability (q-w-e). When they hit level 17, they may opt to regain they're swapped out ability and choose from a randomly generated set of ults from 6 champs.

I'd like to see the basic map with the appearance of a few wandering creatures that are aggressive to anything that passes by them. On the same concept map, the water area would spawn schools of aggressive fish and aggressive crocs. Have the dragon and Baron roam from time to time and attack anything they come across.

Maps where you can hire bots to aid you.

Have the base spawn standard minions, the teams can buy advanced minions or more waves of minions with their extra gold if they want. Allow the champs to also purchase a repair kit for the turret, or an upgrade kit for the turret so it fires 2 attacks rather than 1.

Have items that let you integrate with the environment. ie an airpipe that lets your champs lay in the water undetected for a short time. A camo suit that lets you be undetected while in the bushes. A climbing harness that lets you actually climb the static terrain to give you a peek at the trail adjacent to yours. A turret key that lets you jump in a turret and have your items augment the attacks of the turret while you direct the fire (this includes minion kills crediting you for gold). A hired animal that 1) tracks any injured opponents and points towards them 2) an owl that tells you something hostile is nearby (might include the above aggressive neutral minions) 3) an eagle that flies along a section and reveals anyone there 4) a snake that stays in the grass and will bite for a small amount of damage but have the opponent revealed while poisoned 5) a 1 shot guard dog that jumps and holds somebody for half a second if somebody strikes you in melee.

On the same line as the 10 item purchase, have a potion area that hold 3 types of potions/foods that do not count against you gear (have some potions that give a sudden burst of speed, let you see invis for a short duration, let you turn invis for a short duration, let you turn gaseous (like vlad blood pool) for a short duration, etc.

OR in a 10-item game have the first item (completed) be the most powerful and each subsequent item slightly less powerful. That first item will be your signature item and gains a boost or increases slightly as you level, for items that are champ specific that rise in power, they may choose one extra ability on that item that manifests at level 8 (half power) then fully gained at level 15.

A map where turrets are not quite as powerful but slowly respawn by having minions fix them. In this version there are many lanes and perhaps even 3 teams of 4 players. The standard waves of minions will have one minion disengage each wave to go help rebuild a turret (more minions will pile up there with each successive wave until the turret is rebuilt or the enemies destroy them). The players can purchase a repair group that specifically spawns and heads out from the base to go fix the closest turret at a more rapid rate. For a more expensive purchase, the players can hire a repair group that moves faster and surgically goes to the turret that you target when you purchase the repair team. This surgical repair team happens to be stealthed for a static amount of time which covers their journey for half the map (roughly).

A new CD effect that lets players port between turrets (from one turret to another), but then renders the energy of the turret inert for a short period of time while it recharges. No other ally can port through that turret while it is on CD.

A river map that has a 3 regions to cross (a high bridge, a shallows and a ferry), this river spawns a pirate ship complete with cannons that blast anyone unlucky to come across them. Every so often a group of pirates lands on either side and commences an attack on that player's team. The attacking pirates are led by a randomly spawned champion, with a few elite "minions" and several scurvy seadogs!

A map where the players need to gain 5 tokens (power crystals even, to keep with the theme of LoL). The tokens spawn at different locations and are used to increase the power of a turret outside their base. The turret is revamped to create a lifedraining effect that restores the turret's health. When the turret is destroyed the enemy team can recover the token and put it in one of their turrets. (this map will likely be a version of one I formerly mentioned that has many turrets and capability to rebuild destroyed turrets). The first team to successfully gain all 5 tokens and place then in their turrets wins.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the ideas.

Are most players just in favor of having new champs or actually seeing new maps and content? Curious about this, as I favor seeing new maps and using map strategy. I lose interest after a time when all the games are simply waiting to see how one champ's powers stack up against another champ's powers, then defaulting to the center lane mobfest.
